@YouTubricant -Yes, they do because they question it. They cast doubt on it and I gave you concrete proof now you do the same or don't reply at all and you best back it up with Scripture if you do. I am seriously getting tired of going around in circles with you. I am NOT forcing you to believe as I do. That's not my job. So stop trying to make me believe as you do. It will NEVER happen.
@YouTubricant - This is the warning I gave on my Rob Bell video and it is your only warning...back it up with Scripture or you're blocked. Plain and simple. Even a heretic can understand it.
@KarensFaith 1 of 2: If you're so sure and firm in what you believe, then why it is even a big deal that I am continuing to present counterpoints to you? Why so defensive? Obviously I don't know this for sure because I don't know you personally, but it seems to me that you are really afraid to change what you believe, and the idea of changing your beliefs is horrifying to you. Believe me...I understand. I was the exact same way. I used to be scared to death to open my mind to new things.
@YouTubricant - I am defending God and His Word like He told us to do! And you didn't back yourself up with Scriptures so....goodbye! I don't play games and argue with those who think they can believe whatever they want and claim that God says it's okay when it so clearly states that He doesn't. Have a nice life. I have no ill will towards you. Believe as you want. I will believe as I always have...in the GOD OF THE BIBLE.
@YouTubricant - Because it has been faithfully transcribed down through the centuries. And God will and DOES preserve His Word. This is what Bell and McLaren have taught you. To doubt the Bible. And when you doubt the Word of God, you doubt God Himself. The proof is in us when we read His Word and OBEY it. When we do this, He reveals Himself & His Truths to us. And the only way anyone can ever truly understand the Scriptures is when GOD opens their eyes and minds and hearts to His Word.
@YouTubricant - I think we've been over this enough now. There's no point in going any further. I have told you the truth but it's your choice to believe it or not. You have obviously chosen not to. I am not going to change my mind on this. There is nothing you can ever do that will make me change my mind. Unless Bell and McLaren repent and begin teaching the Bible as truth, as THE Gospel, and that it's without error, I will regard them as the heretics they are.
@YouTubricant - Yes, it is interpreted, but we cannot make it say what we want it to say. "No one comes to the Father except through me" means that Jesus Christ is our only access to the Father. I do know it needs to be interpreted, but when it is interpreted it must be done correctly which Bell and McLaren do not do.
@YouTubricant - Look, you can follow them if you want to. I'm not stopping you. Believe every heretical thing they say. That is up to you. I will continue to warn people about these heretics because that is what we are commanded to do by our Savior. And HE is the One I follow...always.
@KarensFaith Who determines when it is "done correctly"? We do! We humans do! From Bell and McLaren's perspective, they've interpreted it as "correctly" as they think they can.
@YouTubricant - It (OT) was transcribed word for word by the Jews for centuries and if one mistake was made, one little "jot or tittle" in the wrong place, it was thrown out and had to be recopied all over again. Now the Jews don't believe Christ is the Messiah, but there were many who did and have faithfully transcribed it just the same way. And like I said, God has to reveal His Word to you. Don't use a "modern" Bible like the NIV or "The Message." Get a KJV or a NASB. They are very accurate.
@YouTrubicant - "And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" ~2 Timothy 3:15-16
@YouTubricant - And therein lies the problem. The Bible is the ONLY source we need. Sure, we can read other's works but they are not inerrant as the Bible is. We read them and hold them up against Scripture and if it doesn't line up, then it's wrong and possibly heresy. There's no doubt with McLaren and Bell that they are heretics.
@YouTubricant - Wo-ow! That sure is "Christian" of you. You just proved what my videos say are truth...this is the result of following these heretics...foul language from an ungodly mouth and heart.
By the way...in case you didn't know this...no swearing on my videos or you will be blocked. This is the ONLY warning you get. Do it again and you're gone.
@KarensFaith You're right...to curse in my comment was un-called for and not very Christian...but it is UNBELIEVABLY presumptuous of you to assume that 1) me cursing is a result of embracing "heretics" like McLaren, and 2) McLaren and those like them would promote such needless, petty behavior. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.
@YouTubricant - Well, you did curse and as far as Bell and McLaren are concerned, they don't teach the Bible, they teach their made up doctrine and it's not about Jesus Christ! When we don't read our Bibles (and I am not saying you aren't) and taking these men's teaching and comparing them with Scripture to see that they line up with the Word of God, then you're apt to sin and make excuses for it. They teach another gospel and cursing is probably not a big deal to them.
@YouTubricant - You have no idea how many people who are angry at me for exposing these so-called "men of God" come at me with cursing and swearing as you did. It says a lot about your character and it makes your salvation questionable. Not my fault, it's all on you.
"But the things that proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and those defile the man." Matthew 15:18
You're the one who should be ashamed for your words. Judge yourself before you judge me.
@KarensFaith 3 of 3 (sorry...had more to say than I thought): Also, how on earth did I judge you?! All I did was call you out for some things you said because I saw them as presumptuous. And then here you are, literally calling my own personal salvation into question! I'm sorry, but that to me is a prime example of judging someone else.
@YouTubricant - They are heretics. Period. You can't change my mind on this. I've read them, watched videos of them, listened to interviews. This is all I am going to say about it. They preach another gospel and for that they are accursed. Period.
@YouTubricant - "But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed!" ~Galatians 1:8-9
This is what the Bible says and I'm sticking with it because it is the WORD of God.
@KarensFaith "You can't change my mind on this." Those words reveal so much. You're right. I can't change your mind...because you won't allow it to be changed.
@YouTubricant - Not when it means I have to deny that the Scriptures are without error. Not when I have to compromise my faith and my God. Sorry. I will not ever take the word of any man over the Word of Almighty God! If you want to, fine. Now take it elsewhere. I mean it.
@KarensFaith Ah, but you are choosing to believe that the Bible is without error! What if that belief is wrong? How can you know if it is wrong if you don't allow for the possibility of it being wrong?
@YouTubricant - Oh, for crying out loud! From your very first post I knew you were gonna give me this nonsense for days on end. It's been done before by others and it didn't work for them. It's not working now for you. It IS WITHOUT ERROR BECAUSE IT SAYS IT'S WITHOUT ERROR! I gave you the verses! Best be getting those verses to prove your point...which you can't....so.......
Scripture teaches us of a time when "good" would be called evil, and "evil" would be called goo,, and we are in that time. When I read the English/Aramaic Interlinear New Testament, it reads in 1 Cor. 6:9: "Or don't you know, that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of Elohim? Make no mistake! Neither sexual sinnners, nor idol-worshippers, nor adulterers, nor the corrupt, nor men who lay down with other men." We must stop watering down the Word to justify our ungodly behavior.
Would heaven be a beautiful peaceful place if you were there knowing your loved ones were burning in hell for eternity???Think about it.....That would be the definition of hell for me....I couldn't imagine being in a place rejoicing if someone I loved was being tortured.....forever and ever and ever...Just a thought....peace and love
I pray for McLaren and Rob Bell, they do not know Jesus Christ. EX20:4-5“You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand [generations] of those who love me and keep my commandments.
@peterrabbitwarren - No, you can thank Satan for that. The Gospel, the Word of God does NOT change. It has ALWAYS been relevant and we don't need false teachers who twist God's Word to suit their own agendas. McLaren is a wolf in the fold. He preaches another gospel.
Jesus predicted this. He said they would "call Me 'Lord, Lord,'" but "not do the things which I say" (Luke 6:46). They revealed that two opposing Christian religions would emerge. One—the Church Jesus founded—would be led by God's Spirit and remain faithful to His teachings. The other—guided and influenced by a different spirit—would accept the name of Christ but twist His teachings to create a convincing counterfeit of the true Church of God.
Thank you Sister Karen for standing fast in the faith, proclaiming the truth and not compromising the Holy Scriptures, but rather using God's Word as our valiant weapon against any and all falsehoods that are leading millions to a Christ-less eternity of everlasting perdition!
Brian McLaren is trying to get people to think about what needs to be changed with churches who alienate rather than love. Who are you to judge? Jonah thought he knew it all, and when he found that God loved the Ninevites, Jonah wanted out. Looks like that the creator of this video has no room for dissent.
Brian McLaren is so deceived by his own mind set. He makes himself believed his own lies. Rebelling against the teaching of Christ, is going against God. Seems he chose to be an Antichrist
As a teacher of history and religion I find this series of videos dogmatically narrow. For example, the salvation response does not address the historical issues that Maclaren raises but merely quotes scripture as though that were the end of the matter. This sort of approach is exactly what the Reformation and the Enlightenment period were about when they attempted to engage a wider understanding of faith. This is exactly like a fundamental jihadist imposing their view. Listen to Gamaliel.
@HumanitiesEducation This video distorts the intention of Scripture because it does not bother to discover its context. too bad that when someone a transformative as McLaren appears on the scene, folks have to dump on him instead of listen and participate in the thing that God is doing today.
You just proved brian's point of the need of rethinking. I would agree that homosexual relations is of sinful nature, however, how do you justify God destroying Sodom and Gemmorah for their sin? God is not a god of hate,God is love, and killing people does not exemplify love. It is this kind of thinking that separates Christians from so many fellow children of God. Please stop taking biblical text out of context and be realistic.
@chaddalan28 You're calling God unjust in destroying Sodam & Gomorrah? Are you saying there is injustice with God? God IS a God of love but God is also HOLY and HATES sin. God could justly, and very easily send every person who ever lived to hell; its by mercy any are saved.
"What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. " Rom 9:14-15
OK. So how do we know if anyone is a false teacher. The guy who made this video could be one. I'm Buddhist now because of all this nonsense. He's right, I'm right, they're right. It's all word games. The Christian church has changed over and over through the centuries and you don't think it will change again? This isn't bad. It's just silly.
to anyone that is still emergent, listen and watch, "The Gospel - Paul Washer". And if you still think genesis is a poem... Checkout Mars Hill Church Seattle.

Nice job on the video Karen, keep up the good work!
I believe that there is an unhealthy focus on getting people "saved" in the church today. The term "personsal savior" never once appears in The Bible and "salvation" meant something very different to the Jewish people in Jesus' day living in the midst of the Roman Empire. We focus on the spiritual needs to the exclusion of physical and social needs. We have made Jesus' message fit what we want it to say and it should be the other way around. cont...
You're welcome. I will keep your father-in-law in prayer. This is why I make these types of videos, to let people see the deception that is coming out the Emergent (Emerging) Church Movement and prevent them from following along, or hopefully bring them out of it. It's very a dangerous movement. God bless!
Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. I took your excellent advice and put the Scripture reference to 1 Cor. 6:11 in an annotation in the video. Thanks and God bless!
Thank you, Karen. An excellent and needed video. To emphasize your point on leading those caught in homosexuality out of darkness, please consider including verse 11 of 1 Cor 6, "And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." This verse is full of the hope for change in Christ. This is the verse pastors should be preaching from the pulpit, not ideas about indifference to sin.

The term "personsal savior" never once appears in The Bible and "salvation" meant something very different to the Jewish people in Jesus' day living in the midst of the Roman Empire. Thank you Karen for putting up this information. Brian McLaren is leading many astray. Including my father-in-law.
