Well I think I like Obama simply because we are entering a new era and we need fresh ideas and bold tactics. A perfect example, we are trying to push laws to cut carbon emisssions but India and China who are not really involved in the Kyoto Treaty will produce far more carbon than the US,Europe or South America. I don't like any war, but I felt that Afghanistan was the correct action to take, assuming that 9/11 was indeed a terrorist attack and not an inside job, which I highly doubt it is. But now look. They have gone into a country without trying diplomacy and under false pretenses in order to basically secure our oil. CIA were the ones who put Hussein in power in the 1st place. Now Iraq is going to turn into exactly what Afghanistan became after the Russians left.

Now to me, it sounds like the most logical way to get out of both wars is to do like a Vietnamization-type deal. Where we pull so many troops out of there every week or every month and replace them with Iraqi and Afghan troops until we are completely out of there. Otherwise where does this war end? Well I think I like Obama simply because we are entering a new era and we need fresh ideas and bold tactics. A perfect example, we are trying to push laws to cut carbon emisssions but India and China who are not really involved in the Kyoto Treaty will produce far more carbon than the US,Europe or South America. Your small limited mind can't see the big picture. We are not "winning" the war. The War was won several years ago but radicalism will infest that country until the occupation is over. If you consider "winning" peace, it's nothing but a pipe dream. Death and violence is embedded deep in that area. Our troops are dying for an unattainable goal. We're doing nothing but sending our young men to die.

All of you who are backing Obama, Clinton, etc. because they withdraw troops...you are uninformed. What they tell you is they'll get 'em out fast! What they won't talk alot about is after they pull them out of Iraq, they'll stick them in Iran or Pakistan! You can't call yourself a peace advocate if you plan on doing the same thing in another country, that's not how it works.
And please...we will NEVER get the job done in Iraq. It's civil war, it won't end until we're out.

Thanks for the link, saw it and did not see where he said for sure he would attack pakistan. He does however he says with intelligence.
Maybe you should think about about what he's says most of the time about being careful, and considering how against the war in Iraq I doubt he will just wage war on day 1.
I see it was just a Ron Paul video though! Which is cool because Ron Paul is great except for healthcare.

Threatening a country with military action on the bases of POSSIBLE terrorism is not the same as "We'll go in with intelligence". Sorry, but even if he withdrawed ALL the troops immediately, he's just going to throw them at a country with 15 nuclear warheads.

Sorry he believes that free market is appropriate for health care, and believes that us Canadians hate socialize medicine and travel to the U.S. for healthcare. I just don't agree with company based healthcare where their goal is to make a profit and helping people is comes behind that.
Plus he doesn't really say anything but not mandating it. So poor people can get sick and die because the can't afford too buy it.

For the first part, wrong. He didn't say they travel here for healthcare. Secondly, free market healthcare creates a competition of buisness over medications. That means low prices, and no monopoly on our drugs. Not the same as "Sick and die".
Know why Canada, Switzerland, and other European country's can afford universal healthcare? Because they aren't 9 trillion in debt and wasting tons of money a year on a pointless conflict.
