  • fuck 31 division

  • Those police would play GTA4 very well

  • SOOOO G!

  • All that for a right turn? I guess the police didn't have anything important going on at the moment.

  • could be a VIP

  • I like how one the ambluance got to the turn and turned the police stopped and went on their own ways XD

  • @blueeyes1502 The hospital was right there. No need to go farther :P

  • thats great that cops do that for EMS I wish they did that for my county but why so many cop cars

  • which hospital is this? cause i remember this intersection is where i got rear ended by a speeding truck.

  • @mastaboy15 centenery

  • First, hats off to the police officers who helped with escorting the paramedics to the hospital.

Second, I think that the emergency is critical enough to the point of life-threatening, and seconds matter for any patient..

Third, we need to understand why this is going on.

  • Too bad you didn't zoom in on the ambulance, be willing to bet they were tactical paramedics.

  • @imprezzed42296 Tactical Medica driver a bigger version of a normal paramedic, they either drive a CBRNE ambulance or one that says tactical they are way larger then the normal parameidc ones

  • nope.. I dont think that at all... probably a child.. or someone that was seconds from death. not over kill at all

  • Little over kill with the police, anybody else think that?

  • Comment removed

  • That paramedic was just hungry for some ice cream.

  • american cops love playing with there cars, there like little kids playing with the sirens

  • @jmjw8211 Crackhead bitch.

  • @FederalPolice620 haha im guessing your a cop? or just a faggot, either one, WHATEVER!!

  • @jmjw8211 That's exactly the sort of attitude that's gonna land you in trouble!

  • @FederalPolice620 "land" me in trouble then! you havent got a leg to stand on

  • @XxGetBuck123 I have two legs and a patrol car to stand on.

  • @FederalPolice620 your such a foggot.. try do something!! go on?? try... dumb cunt!!

  • @XxGetBuck123 Ok, I'll start with your lack of grammar and spelling skills...

  • @jmjw8211 except this is canada., idiot

  • @umpy91 canada = little america!!

  • @XxGetBuck123 Little America? Canada has more land than the U.S. does, doesn't that make America a little Canada?

  • @BoxerTwoZero I think umpy91 means that in America, you'd get an police escort of about 20 officers.

  • the point in having a police escort is for the ambulance to FOLLOW RIGHT BEHIND THE POLICE CAR!

  • why the fuck would they need to stop the whole intersection if the ambluance is only turning right? i can understand if it was going straight or turning left.. but turning right is the least disruptive direction it could take...... what a waste of workforce

  • @ktonlai They're escorting the ambulance to the hospital. When the ambulance has it's sirens running, it's saying "There's an important reason as to why I have to get to the hospital. Right now the shit I have to deal with is more important than anyone else's" but people fail or choose not to realize that and they figure "Oh it's just an ambulance, they can go around me". They're blocking the intersection to stop idiots from going through it, or trying to beat the ambulance into the hospital

  • Just another day in Scarborough...

  • Damn Toronto Police When they do Speed Runs or some people call emergencys runs they do it really well yesterday a women slit her wrist at bridgepoint on broadview they had speed run and they got saint michaels in like 4 minutes job well done toronto police

  • What siren is that?

    Whelen?

    Federal Signal?

    Unitrol?

  • Beautiful escort although sometimes very hazardous. Must have been critical such as burns or child involved...

  • to all you people who say fk the police, would you seriously say that and expect a police officer to come save you if you get in trouble?? or would your imaginary "boys" come save you?

btw if you want my address dont bother, i live half way around the world from canada.

  • That's why we carry legal CCW, and a 9inch blade.

Gangsters try to car jack me and I got 2 different types of pain coming. :) One is my .45 and the other is my blade if it comes to that.

btw for you noobs. Carrying legal CCW doesn't make you a criminal, it makes you a professional criminal ass kicker!

  • want to see if am a puss ? show your face and post your address See if we don't raid your place PUSS

  • come to rexdale ontario and say that :) see if you wont get shot lol.

  • Pussssssss, need your 'boys' to fight your battles? Aww muffin..

  • They do these runs all the time with us. It's completely irrelevant who the patient is, baby, adult, rich, poor - makes no difference. It helps get the morons off the road because they will pull over for a police car - but when we're going lights and sirens in an ambulance we get people slamming on the brakes in front of us or giving us the finger.

  • BoxerTwoZero ?? Try ? I don't need to prove my point You want to Come To My Block And Say Try ? see how fast you get robed or shot.

  • lol@your block

  • Ok.. What the fuck did you just say? Try to form a full sentence.. Just because you think you're gangster shit off the internet doesn't mean you have to type like a retard.

  • This technique is done when the patient is a BABY . Forgot what the technique is called but it's the highest priority (higher than officer down)

  • i remember when a kid fell from a building they did this, Also when a young person is shot even some adults from time to time . This was not a officer down escort because all the crusiers would have head to the hospital and then some.

  • Why would they need 6 cars to go? They need two cars, a supervisor and one to take a report. Notice only two cars went with the ambulance? ... HInt hint..

  • Yea We when hear those Cop Sirins round our Area we make the run for it lol. That has to be Some Guy Like a Mobster or some organized crime guy who needs protection no cop would escort a ambulance like that.

  • That wasn't really 'protection' considering all but one Police car left after they arrived, that was an escort. Officer down is most likely.

  • No ofence man but you have no idea what you are talking about. Whoever the patient is is a civilian like you and I or there would be unmarked vehicles or military presence... There wasn't...

  • Those are my second favorite sirens (Code 3 Mastercom) next to the Unitrol Touchmaster made by Federal Signal. Too bad our units have the cruddy Whelen sirens.

  • Unitrol is the sickest siren ever made. The sweep tones are like space sounds. I never hear them in Canada...

  • Yah i see that a couple of times police block the road and direct traffic while they block the roads so the ambulance can get throught with no incident to the hospital nice job thought i hate the douch bags who don't yield cause theres someone whos dieing out there

  • yeah look at the fuckin redish car that blocks one of the lanes instead of just goin behind the green one.. idiots

  • Officer down maybe .. That rarely happens in T-Dot.

  • Shooting / stabbing victim / suspect

  • Possibly: also could be burns, child, violent or combative patient, like someone else stated a suspect in a major crime etc. There are so many possibilities. I know this from being a dispatcher...

  • thats 51 trailridge baby! lol im 8th floor! i recognized that dumb hill lol

  • Couple things cross my mind... its either a very sick child they have in the back of the ambulance, or its a fallen paramedic or police officer. Even though the bickering happens between emergency services... two things are guarenteed to happen. 1.) We get the job done, and 2.) We look after our own.

  • @Stupidispatcher it can also be someone in life threating condition from a stabbing or shooting, i know as a fact Toronto police do a amazing job in these emergency runs they get to a hospital trauma centres in under 10 mins from anywhere in the city

  • @Stupidispatcher It is for sure a leo in the truck, they don't do this otherwise.

  • @qazwas2001 they do this even if it isn't a LEO my friend was rushed to hospital this way after he had a cardiac arrest they do this when its life threatening

  • @Stupidispatcher Your last statement is true. However, it could be anyone in the back. I've had the police set up runs for everyone from a homeless person to a drug dealer to a regular "joe". No one steps it down based on who the person is. If they do they shouldn't be working.

  • lol all of that to spend the next 2 hours in offload :P

  • Most likely but for a peds call any day... No matter what else I might have planned...

  • Don't know the details, but this is what is called an Emergency Run. Toronto Police will escort an Ambulance to the hospital if ANYONE (not just a Cop) is seriously injured and dying. Emerg Runs happen all the time, we just usually never see it.

GREAT catch Justin! Remember, pull over to ther right and STOP when you see & hear emergency vehicles responding.

Not yielding is a HUGE problem in Toronto. I'm a Toronto Firefighter, my wife is a Toronto Paramedic, and we see this all the time.

  • There was a Police officer seriously hurt in a collision the other day during a chase...this could be it?

  • That was great. I saw something similar yesterday actually. A baby had reportedly fallen down a flight of stairs and needed to be taken out by an air ambulance, so they transported him to the Lion's Soccer Park in Beamsville where an air ambulance was waiting on a field, but they shut down the road, as well as they had Lincoln Squad 2, the ambulance, an EMS supervisor, as well as I believe 3 or 4 police units doing the roads. In the end there were 5 police units at the scene. Very sad stuff tho.

  • i heard that call..sounded nasty!!

  • Wow. An ambo had a three police car escort into the hospital from one of our accident scenes once; person was very, very badly injured...

  • That is a sight to see. I saw an ambo in oakville busting an intersection one time just like this, with a half dozen police cars. That call (in oakville) was for a kid struck by lighting. Maybe a police officer was injured?? I'm sure this is how the cops would take care of their own.

  • holy crap, that was great! amazing catch to get this on video.

    5*

  • maybe it was someone who was arrest and injure

  • same here

  • must of been the prime minister haa

  • Awesome

  • Wow! That was great! EMS probably weren't expecting this much support when they asked.

  • wow...nice catch!
