Public transport isn't too bad, LA has the second largest bus and light rail systems in the country. As for that "excuse for a skyline" last I checked, only New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and Miami have more buildings above 500 ft. The only thing shitty in LA is the traffic

This is a bit true but Oakland and San Francisco ARE NO strangers to crime TOO. I've lived in the SF Bay Area my whole life. So I know! Probably the worst city I've ever visited. I can't imagine living there. The smog, the traffic, the people are unbearable. Want a great trip? Go to NY or DC. NYC is the greatest city in the world ( and I'm from Boston) and most of DC is free. Public transportation in NYC and DC is terrific, which is something LA sorely lacks. Chicago is another city on my list to visit.

I am a Chicago native who lived in the L.A. area off and on for over 30 years. Career circumstances kept me there, but I always knew that I would return back to Chicago. Having finally done it, I can unequivocally say that it was the best decision I ever could have made, Without the highest air pollution in the nation, traffic beyond belief, highest cost of living anywhere, flakes, phonies and fools, my quality of life has increased beyond my expectations.
L.A. might suck in alot of ways but alot of people from other parts of the USA still come here every day. I was born here and I would like to try living in another city , but every time I do the research on another city and I am getting ready to actually go , I find out about all the bad things about the other city and I never leave because I will just be trading the bad things here for the bad things there - so why bother. what a pointless video. i can't believe some pathetic douche took the time to cry about why LA sucks. every city has its advantages and disadvantages. i live in LA, i love it. but i also love ny, sf, chicago, etc. i could find bad things to say about those cities as well, but i have a life and i'm not a bitter bitch. traffic is bad in most cities, we don't have blizzards, and earthquakes aren't that common. and people are pretty decent...unless your a bitchy pathetic douche.

I've lived in real major metropolitan "cities" my entire life having grown up in a military family. Los Angeles is not a city. It's a 'stamped out', aesthetically soulless, disjointed and depressing mess... but even that would of been bearable had the population of that dark shit-hole wasn't so fucked up. After all, the people are what makes a 'city' and this 'place' is just way too fucking crowded with assholes and shitheads and they're not even the worst... the middle-eastern snobs are.

Probably the worst city I've ever visited. I can't imagine living there. The smog, the traffic, the people are unbearable. Want a great trip? Go to NY or DC. NYC is the greatest city in the world ( and I'm from Boston) and most of DC is free. Public transportation in NYC and DC is terrific, which is something LA sorely lacks. Chicago is another city on my list to visit.

Most people here have no morals or values and are not as ambitious and serious as east coast people...most los angeles people have a carefree attitude...and alot of them are inconveinient.

I am a Chicago native who lived in the L.A. area off and on for over 30 years. Career circumstances kept me there, but I always knew that I would return back to Chicago. Having finally done it, I can unequivocally say that it was the best decision I ever could have made, Without the highest air pollution in the nation, traffic beyond belief, highest cost of living anywhere, flakes, phonies and fools, my quality of life has increased beyond my expectations.

L.A. might suck in alot of ways but alot of people from other parts of the USA still come here every day. I was born here and I would like to try living in another city , but every time I do the research on another city and I am getting ready to actually go , I find out about all the bad things about the other city and I never leave because I will just be trading the bad things here for the bad things there - so why bother. But the dating scene here is the worst if you are a guy, not enough gals

@kaliforniakings I couldn't agree with you more. The air quality sucks, so does the upkeep of the entire area. I simply don't agree with people that think LA is so perfect and beautiful. Chicago (as shitty as it is now) is a much nicer city. At least there are still some parts of Chicago worth seeing/living on the southwest side. I don't see anything good about LA. The people (especially the valley/surfer/rich people) are very rude, loud, annoying, and ignorant.
