  • WHERES RADIO?

  • pinche stams stadium looks so miniscule here

  • Does anyone know that dude that works at the Pharr West? He's from Donna. A short, little guy. I just want to say thanks for the free beer, dude.

  • Brings back memories. I don't remember where I was in there. Any chance you have further back years? 03, 02, 01?

  • whooooo my future high schooll

    rockkk onn people!!!!

  • You guys are lucky with your YouTube.

We did not have that, but the memories live on in our hearts. Class of 1991 will forever rule!!!!!!!!!!!

  • really good formations and and sound, and really clean too, the songs were really long though, and made it hard to stay focus through out the whole show but really good , especially for a hs

  • Hey, thanks for the compliment. I was one of the 3 drum majors that year. We all agreed that the music lacked, but there was nothing we could do as students. We were given a package to perform by our directors, and we did the best we could. The music is Dance Movements by Phillip Sparke, an I will say that that ballad is one of the best ever written. :)

  • Yeah where is Radio??

  • That's a really good Ensemble but the funniest thing was the beginning. The band was standing at a great attention in an awesome formation drum majors do a good salute standing at a superior attention. Then they break and one TAKES OFF TO THE RACES. Piece of advise just walk fast or do a salute from the podium it's not very professional to take off running before you conduct obviously well prepared ensemble.

  • Hi Wcredneck54!

Thanks for your comment and advice, well, this video is from my senior year in high school (2004-05) and I was also a drum major that year, along with shadesofred.

The drum major that ran off was me, the reason for this was due to timing (go over and the band's disqualified), I would normally walk fast during games but this was competition so I had to run, especially since my podium was located on the 25 yrd line. And as you can see, the performance began shortly thereafter.

  • Well that is understandable. What class did y'all compete in?

  • Class 5A. We're from Brownsville, TX. We did an outstanding job that year but for reasons that were beyond our control we didn't make it to State that year. The band has done fabulously in more recent years. I've served as a Marching Tech & the band has gone to the State Marching Contest every year it's State year. I've seen their improvement & they're setting higher standards each year. The kids are truly bettering the program with their hard work. Thanks for your comments and interest!

  • wheres radio??

  • I'm a new member of the Hanna band Andrew Trumpet

  • now i remember what we would do on fridays.... a big shout out to Hanna Band from class of '84 (ex french horn) Excellent work Everyone.... those hours in the sticky hot muggy sun sure did pay off! I give you 5 stars!

  • im from hanna, hanna is the chafa school ever

  • This has to be one of the best bands I have ever seen. Minor timing issues in guard and some formational problems but other wise just amazing!. Your music omg your music has to be the best thing that my ears have heard. And what a beutifull ballad. Just awesome!

  • Everyone, do you think people go to football games for the football team? NO! They go for half time. And this paricular band is the most amazing band that I have ever heard. You thing that fotbal is hard, join band for a year. You have to learn about 100 pages of drill, memorize maybe 3 to 6 sheets of music not to mention body posture, visuals, staying in step, horn positioning, etc. In a football game you can make an error but in a competition if you make one mistake a judge will see you and...

  • it can cost you the competition. Open your eyes we work just as hard as any sport team. At my school,if you listen, people cheer loader for the band than the football team.

  • where is radio?? is he still there as coach??

  • u guys did a really good job!

  • why do you watch then pussy. what stupid fucks like you dont realize is that this takes just as much work as football players put into the game. obviously hanna has a horrible team. but seriously, if anything, this is harder to do than football. you have to play, and march in step and follow the beat!..respect assfuck!

  • a bandgeek is calling me a pussy. amazing. yeah dude. marching around a football field like a retard while the fans are buying nachos is fucking awesome! rock on loser.

  • go suck a dick.

  • @warbuxpr and YOU are doing/once did something in hs that will contribute to your so called success in life? you are sitting here wasting you're time making fun of people for what they love to do while you could be doing something of your own... the only people that have a career making fun of people and get away with it is TMZ and Perez Hilton, both losers, as anyone with a lick of common sense can tell... rock on with your bullshit lifestyle, asshole...

  • woo

Iam at hanna and i never have listened the band

    LOL

  • youre missing out! theyre one of the best in the valley. i personally think the best, but i cant say that because jealous HARLINGEN people will come in here and murder me!

  • Nice job. But it sounds like the "symphonic sound" that used to be the hallmark of the Hanna HS band is no longer there. Maybe the calibre of the recording equipment is subpar.

  • then why the fuck do u watch it?

  • haha... I remember this show... crazy times.

  • GO HANNA!!!!

  • My cousin goes to Hanna...they have a pretty good band o.O lol but PURO RAIDERS nah jk

  • My sister Dennise is in it and she play the flute and the flag and my 2 naibhers like Hanna so dont be jealous about Hanna.

  • puro pace putos soccer district champs going for state

  • This band DID NOT challenge themselves well enough on the music aspect at all. They sound very good on the loud parts but the quiet sections leave a lot to be desired which of course is where your true talent comes out.

  • OMG, this video has been in my favorites forever and you have commented on it! I can't believe that!

  • well finally i see brownsville, pero pues porter rocks

  • SCREW HANNA... PURO LOPEZ LOBO'S... Nah... im not that mean... i respect hannah.. but I go to lopez and well what else would I say

  • Hanna is very traditional and is one of the things I love about this band. They are not to flash like most band's that make state. I think it's amazing how they stick to being so musical and do a fantastic job every time. I hope they post this years 2006 Marching Show "Through the Eyes of a Child" IT wAS FANTASTIC!

  • Yup. It was fantastic. They won Area G this year! This years video should be posted! So hold on tight while they work on getting it up. I'm sure they want to show it off!

  • I agree with you all.. Hanna is a pretty good band BUT they aren't innovative and their shows are pretty much the same to me every year i have seen them... boring...

  • you know, I agree with you. Hann IS the best band in the Valley right now, but I dont think that they can expect to make it into the finals at higher levels until they challenge themselves and become more innovative. No offense, they sound great and the box drill and marching is great.

  • hanna is a good band just didnt challenge itsself with this drill or musical selection. and why a pause between every new passage or movement?

  • Hanna band is the best and did dont be jealous
