@AssassinMentor Are you talking about the Rockstar Pass? If so, when you're in the LA Noire main menu, just click the button that corresponds to "downloadable content" (i think it's x or y on 360) and a menu will pop up with all of the DLC you can download. If you have already purchased it, it will say "owned" and then give you the option to download the content from there, where it will take about 5 mins or so depending on your connection speed. Enjoy! I had a blast with every DLC case

OK, it's easier than it seems. The thing you need to remember is, each time you land on the wanted letter, press B, and then select the outer dial again, just to confirm that you've dialed the correct letters.

H=K so set the outer to H and set the inner to K. Then dial these letters: K.S.B.O.J.L.K.O.Q.X.S.B. Make sure to press 'B' each time you land on the wanted letter. You know you're doing it right when the letters show on the top left hand corner of your screen. Hope this helps!

U made the puzzle so much harder than it needed to be it took my a hour to try and figure ur method out then I gave and went to another tutorial and solved it in like 1 min all u have to do is align outer H and inner K then simply move the peter circle to all the letters its telling u to put

To do bulletproof windshield just forget about the first car (you probably won't hit it. Go get a shotgun out of the trunk. Once you got it just wait and in about 20 seconds another car should come up the side. Shoot the driver in it (it's going real slow). Then run to the left and take out that car (it auto aims) and then you got it. It may take you only two tries for this method.

You forgot a clue on your guide you only found 15 of 16 to get a five star rating after you look at the photos and do the expierment at the station go to the desk by the door in the same room with the photos and you will find the microfilm document to look at clue 16 of 16......

You don't need to move both dials for all the letters after the 123 the first letter in the code is K move the outer big dial to K and then move the inner dial three to get the first letter in the answer which would be N. Just keep moving the outer dial to the letters in the code and the inner smaller dial will always move with it and will always be three away so the letters in the answer will just pop up, easier then moving both dials all the time.......

Guys the puzzle took me about 30 seconds. You just do as is instructed. H on the outer, K on the inner, *alligned*, then you target the outer border and move it so that each of the letters in the notebook matches with the pin at the top. Viola! :3

This is a great and much-appreciated walkthrough, but the solution to the dial puzzle he has really is really overly-complicated. The paper says that H=K, so all you do is make H=K on the dial, then solve the puzzle. Turn the outer dial so that the red marker is on the H. Then turn the inner dial so that K is directly under H. Then turn the outer dial to each letter in the paper (KSBOJLKQXSB). It isn't any more complicated than that.

@NycKid175 I had that problem, too. My missing clue was the file under the magnifying glass at the Wilshire station. After you examine all the photos there and perform the little explosive linseed oil experiment, don't leave the station. Look on the table where the photos are. At the other side of the table is a file that can be examined with another magnifying glass for a clue.

@reeceunderwood2 Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous. Took me close to 20 tries. I really think it is harder than the designers intended. Shooting the first driver isn't too bad, but you have to be in JUST the right position when you kill him or you get run over by the car or you can't turn around in time to face the other car. I pretty much had to wait until the second vehicle was NEARLY stopped and pull off a perfect headshot on the driver inside from an awkward angle...

The Outer and Inner don't need to be aligned... You just have to have K in the inner circle lined up with the H on the outer circle...  then just move the outer circle until you get the address...

The easiest way to figure out the dial is to make sure the outer dial is on "H" and the inner dial is "K"...so they line up...then all you have to do is focus on moving the outer dial with the letters on the newspaper...it will spell out N Vermont Ave without having to do all that work...

You are makin this harder than it need to be... the note says H=K or somtin like that. move the dials so that H on big wheel and k on little wheel. move the whole dial to each letter on the note. deciphered letters will show up at the top of screen.  just match the two that = each other then move the dial to each codes letter!

@TMil603 Start at "K" for the Outer Dial . MAKE SURE Inner Dial has "K" Right Below it so it is aligned. NOW start with the OUTER dial and move three times so that you land on "N". THEN move INNER dial three times so that you land back on "K". The letter N will show up repeat this step for each letter. I hope this helps.

Then just turn outer to each letter (starting with K and the bottom stays in sync -- that is the whole point of the decoding). Just line up H and K (newspaper says H = K) and then just move outer. The game actually prompts you to do this with the text in the upper left of the screen.

That make NO sense. the key is H=K . This sets up the cipher to decode the message. So align one H with one K(doesn't matter if it's H over K or K over H). So you spin the inner so K is under H or H is under K. THAT IT!. I have no idea where you get the whole spin the center more times then you need to. Spinning the outer spins the center with it.

@TMil603 I've got best solution IMO.Rotate inner and outer circles so the arrow will point at "N" in both of them. Check out left side of the screen for letters to appear. Rotate both dials to get next phrase "N VERMONT AVE".For ex. to get V - rotate outer dial to V and inner to V too , then from this position rotate inner slightly clockwise to unlock this letter, then go for E on outer dial and E on inner and slightly to the right.
