this shows you how music speaks to people. The 2nd top comment is from a 70 year old drummer, and im a 15 year old teenager... The vocals are so beautiful and send chills down my spine. I hate pop music, and this just... speaks to me. Wonderful work Lis Fraser. Beautiful job.
@smallmanification Good lord both of you in the top rated section check out the Cocteau Twins. Wanna know where the inspiration on the latest Sleigh Bells album came from? There you go. There has NEVER been a vocalist in my mind who's even approached Liz Fraser.
I first heard this song at the Nakid Lounge Coffee Shoppe in Sacramento, CA. I went WTF?!!! Cocteau Twins?!!! I know that's Bitzie because I have the Pink Opeaque memorized NOTE FOR NOTE (also I saw CT in concert as well). This was YEARS before HOUSE sucked it up as their theme song. I swear to GOD, many people do not know the song has lyrics or a woman's voice singing on it!!! I am getting insufferable in my old age. The Sex was better, the drugs were better, the music was more better...
Even my uncle agrees that this generation has been some of the worst in a long time.
And this is coming from a 48 year old man who was always up to date on the latest musical trends, so you better believe he's seen quite a bit come and go, and then even come back again.
I remember he came into my room once and I was listening to Massive Attack, and he was just like "I'm proud of you." and I looked at him, and we both laughed our asses off. I knew exactly what he meant.
I'm a 70 year old jazz drummer, and I find this song and Liz Fraser absolutely marvelous. It is now in my "vocal" file. I have to check out more of her music...
@TheOddgothgirl Ditto, was talking to a guy today and he had only heard Pearly DewDrops in the day! How do you explain thats only the front door to a house packed with great albums and songs within. @mrsticks28 If you want to find out more, explore the entire Cocteau Twins catalog. This song seems to explore a particular layer of consciousness. It sort of begs a soul to dig deeper than the outer layer of what seems to be visible to the naked eye.

i thought this was the start of elizabeth's voice changing, as to me
it does sound remakeably like sinead o'conner's [then jem started
to sound like elizabeth and now liz sounds like jem] but anyhow
this song is a triumph as its surely the most played song as a
backing track on television, usually in the right way, unlike melonella
that was once used on a cookery programme for chopping melons

Elizabeth Frazer (Fryzjerka) since Cocteau Twins forever is the most amazing vocalist. I love her voice for more than 20 years. And M.A. is a mark of its own.
Genialne połączenie... Btw,

This song seems to explore a particular layer of consciousness. It sort of begs a soul to dig deeper than the outer layer of what seems to be visible to the naked eye.
