Dad has given these kids a gift that will make them rich and famous for sure...It probably DID and DOES take discipline to get so good, but they are together and doing something that matters! Most parents just ship thier kids off to school and hope that they learn something that will provide for them...My hat is totally off to jack.

The mandolin player will surley be very good. my only problem is that none of them are having fun while playing it. this is a fun song and i love playing it. youve got to show emotion. But this is terrific.

How can you make the judgment that they're not having fun. Stoicism is something you see in bluegrass, blues, etc. Clapton is very stoic--it is that level of concentration that shows emotion. Not everyone needs to look like the Cherryholmes bunch.

Its great to see kids like these keeping the acoustic/bluegrass music alive. Just attend any acoustic camp around the country and see the enthusiasm kids have for this music. Its inspiring.  Keep up the fantastic musicianship.
