I personally am a fan of the show and I think she was in more in love with the idea of getting married and choosing her "perfect dress" (or dresses in her case) versus actually being married and wanting to have a life with Kris. She rushed into it without really thinking about it, which was stupid on both of their parts. Moreover, being married is a commitment that you make to one another and if she truly wanted this marriage to work, she would sit down with Kris and work it out.

When the divorce was first announced, I felt like she did marry for publicity. After watching their show, I now feel like she did not marry for publicity, but she married too soon. She should have gotten to know chris more, before marrying. Kim was in love with the idea of having a fairy tale marriage. Chris isn't a bad guy, but he just needs to find the right girl that can joke around with him.
