  • My God they sang so beautiful, it's a shame we won't have singers like this.

  • totally live, not the bloody playback, this is the real talent

  • No Way ABBA would have been what they are without the 2 Beautiful voiced women the ladies made ABBA!!!

  • This was the 1979 concert from Wembly, England. Not the US.

  • I would have loved to hear them live... Must have taken a dozen or so musicians and back-up vocalists to generate their multi-layered sound.

  • Jeg elsker dere........ så mye!!!

  • OHHHHH WONDERFUL ABBA..TRY ONCE MORE, LIKE YOU DID BEFORE..SING AN OLD SONG.. JUST ONE.. AND WE'LL DREAM AGAIN!!!

    DREAM AGAIN!

  • This concert is ABBA at the Wembley Arena in 1979. Lots of other ABBA songs from this concert on Youtube. Search for ABBA Wembley.

  • I thing you are right, this is not Copenhagen

  • From The looks of it , it was at the Wembley Stadium.

  • No bloody autotune. JUST PURE TALENT

  • i amy have to agree and would have love to be in that concert... to bad it happen before i was born...lol but yet great songs and great performace..

  • Great song but sound is excellent for live version!

  • ¡Esto si que es un directo! ¡Lo que hubiera dado por estar en ese concierto!

  • Awesome quality and sound! thanks for sharing this classic . This is my hubby's fave song by Abba. thanks again. : ) music to his ears.

  • agnetha is definitely the voice - she singes like a creature up rom heaven!!

  • mariah, whitney and celion can scream all they want, they will never equal these vocalists.

  • @widebody123 mariah, whitney and celion aren't fit to get Agnetha a Pepsi.

  • @widebody123 freaking A, best comment so far...

  • What's there to say again! Nothing can surpass this. This is heaven!

  • Mamma mia. Questi avevano bellissime voci e... si sono permessi di imparare davvero a usarle! Peccato non sia più di moda farlo. W gli ABBA!

  • This is my favourite song in the hole world =) And they are not of my time. This song drive me crazy! I love them. They don't make them as before =(

  • I LOVE HOW THEY DRESSED BACK THEN! ! SO STYLISH

  • just beautifu;

  • INCREDIBLE PIANO

  • abba, impresiona por la perfecta afinasion,es lo mismo en estudio que en vivo,VIVA abba

  • me encantan esas princesas y todas sus canciones!

  • Брилянтно изпълнение!

  • I love it. I have to, I mean listening to this music makes you like it, belive it or not. They (ABBA) were friends (still are), they were lovers (not any more) and they've made beautifull music together. A perfect combination for the music to came out just great.

    Thanks Agnetha4ever for sharing this.

  • thank you for the share,,, I grew up on this band and NEVER in history has a group harmonized so well,...,.I still get weepy and goose bumps listening to them...XD

  • This costume is in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.

  • very very nice!

  • I'm curious to know who would actually "thumbs-down" this video.

  • Is it just me or is this recording better than the one they put on the CD. I bought the ABBA Gold CD but you can hear Agnetha so much better in this video. I finally got the DVD because I enjoyed this video so much.

  • geneales!

  • divine...

  • masters of the music

  • I would not say that Beatles is over-rated and under talent compared to Abba or any other band.

Abba was fantastic song writers and performers of their music both in studio as live aswell.

I think about Beatles as very good songwriters to, even better than Abba because they made more songs to be all time classics. But I think Abba beats Beatles and most other bands in performing their music.

  • I second the motion!

  • @satanihelvetet I am thinking the exact same thing! :) There is no spirit in music nowadays but Abba had a special ability to think only on the music and to get it 100% Abba always got the spirit to be at the top! Funny to read my own thoughts in a comment on youtube :P

  • This is one of those songs that will last forever, just like the voice of Sweet Agnetha. Thanks for posting.

  • It's from London Wembley arena...you can see it if you go to abba0440 channel...

  • Awesome, Beautiful melody

  • kaka tuwa ka namn cherryan....

  • favorite ng daddy ko to pag may videoke singing parati nya kinakanta. Sad to say, patTAY NA DADDY KO PERO KAHIT NA CHIQUITITA WILL LIVE IN MY HEART FOREVER JUST LIKE HIM

  • Waaaooo ... Même en concert elles avaient des voix qui s'harmonisaient parfaitement ... Magnifique ... Trop beau ...

  • there are very few snigers like those two =) their voices are too beautiful...

  • @grantope i disagree ! because there are no singers who sing like them !

  • Altairograph, what you say is too true. It is more profound, and adds to my original thought, I've said it before, it is now a choice that you've got to make to be different and not worry about everyone else. I think that's what made ABBA unique, they didn't try to be copies of anyone else. Today, not doubt it's cutthroat. I wouldn't want to be a fulltime musician. I'm content to work on the current project I've got going on, that'll take me at least another 2 years. I've been planning it 10 yrs

  • I"ve read many times about there are no groups to compare with what ABBA did in their day, I respectively disagree, There's plenty of talent flating around today if someone had the courage to step up, and do it. Not being a copy of anyone that's gone before. But become inspired and break new ground. Thats what I think is sorely lacking in the equation. People of vision, that will produce a product worthy of the legacy ABBA left for others to emulate.

  • There are people who do it like Dillinger Escape Plan, people who step out of the boundaries and are original, but the problem is that most of the time the result is not compatible with the demands of popular music. I absolutely agree that there are many people with great talent who write great music, but ABBA did something even harder, they made original AND mass compatible music and that is something I think is very very hard to do nowadays cause there's so many different music out there.

  • so beautiful, crystal clear voice

  • wow!.. great performance

  • 2:54, OMG, epic

  • I fucking LOVE the piano at the end! I want to learn it :D this song cheered me up when I was depressed the other day too

  • great sweet song

  • 3:01 is masterlyyyy

  • god her voice surprises me every time it's just so clear...

  • Sound is great. I've listened to a couple of songs from this concert on Youtube now and am really keen to get hold of a DVD of this it....but no joy on Amazon. Anyone have any ideas what it is called or where it is available?

  • This was filmed at Wembley Stadium (London) in 1979.

  • Is this the show available on DVD?

  • Yes, "ABBA in Concert"

  • I play this every day on the way to work; the last part blaring!!!!! It's fabulous!!!!!

  • Gee, I thought I was the only one who did that, grammy2542!

  • And, it's as emotional EVERY single day!!!

  • one of ABBAs very best

  • Me too !!!

  • i love the last part so much!!! , after 3:01

  • fantastic , tanks for video by fans of sardinia ( italy)

  • that's a winderful voice !!! *w*

  • i actully lovew agnetha she was an uber babe, and some voice

  • Benny has always looked the same, except now he's gotten the beer gut and the old-man(old Fart) look. Loved seeing he and Bjorn in Mamma Mia.

  • I love bennys little headbang between 2:17 and 2:21

  • simplemente hermosa, toda una joya esta version en vivo, "mi cancion"

  • what a fantastic performance..

  • Ahora puedo ver q los vestuarios son como los de Madonna en Erotica, obvio, se que Madonna se baso en ellos por lo geniales q son!! Fantástico!

  • Just great !!

  • Gotta love those Swedish butts!!!!

  • LOl at 3;09 is that benny playing so hard or is that the camra that is making the shaking momvment>

  • Yes, Benny is playing so hard! That piano was standing on just one rotary leg and thus it´ so freakin´ shakin´...

  • there were excellent singers at that time, so much difference "speaking of talent".

  • Beautiful Song .... my little girl sings .. Chicken Tikka ....lol

  • Just listen to 0:53 when Agnetha sings 'I can see that your oh so sad so quiet'... She putting everything into that, and the result is pure brilliance. Us listeners should think ourselves very lucky that we can sit and listen to artists such as ABBA as each member of the group performs such wonders.

  • This is very true.

    Its a great group.

  • just feel the purity of agnethas voice, espacially at the beginning, it's like oooh.. beautiful ^^

  • a nice live performance? how about a fantastic live performance!!!!!

  • It good but it just dosent seem right i belive it is missing some instruments.....

  • Comment removed

  • I agree, I´m missing the background vocals and the keyboard-sounds. But it´s still a nice live performance. Especially with Benny´s headbang at 2.20 :)

  • this concert is in Wembley Stadium. :)

  • Not quite. It was Wembley Arena, just next door...lol

  • sorry guys....it's in china.

  • No this isn't China. ABBA never performed a live concert in China, and that's a fact confirmed by their official site. This footage is from the Wembley Arena concert and is available on DVD to check out if you don't believe me.

  • I totally love this song

  • im pretty sure this is from Wembley, London.. you can change the fact about this video if you want it correct, cause' this is defenitely not from Copenhagen I can tell =)

  • Yes, 100% certain this is Wembley Arena in London in 1979. They performed six consecutive nights there between 5th and 10th November. The complete concert is available on DVD.

  • Well, it´s not quite the complete concert, two out of the six nights were filmed, some songs are from the first, some from the second, but it´s too short to be the complete concert...

  • Agnetha is an ACTRESS as well as singer. This is such a good song, and this is a wonderful performance.

  • Um, I think you'll find that Bjorn is a staunch Atheist. In lyrics or not, it's just a FACT. Look it up.

  • ABBA were a great musical group, but to say the Beatles were under-talented and over-rated is sacrilege. You need your head examined pal!!!!!

  • John Lennon liked Abba. I would never go far as to compare them. Great pop writing. The Beatles went beyond pop. They changed music forever with their experimentation. No other group has done that. But Abba were very exceptional, as well. The production is second to none and the myth that they were rubbish live is just that...a MYTH.

  • I've heard that they were known for their spectacular concersts?

  • They WERE spectacular, but critics weren't always so nice. They are AWESOME...the lot of them.

  • Im a huge fan of ABBA and The Beatles, and yeah, certainly, in a way, they are in different leagues, but after all, both groups are legend, and yeah, even John Lennon once said that ABBA's "Knowing me, knowing you" was "perfect pop".

  • Actually, I think it was S.O.S. he thought was perfect. Pete Townshend thought so too...good taste all the way 'round.

  • It was ALAN PARTRIDGE who said "Knowing Me; Knowing You" is perfect pop. And that is just grand.

  • super

  • thanks abba!!!

  • what a fantastic performance...agnetha is superb here!

  • yes it is

  • Anybody know which DVD this is on?

  • Wow!! Very beautiful! I'm your newest fan. :-)

  • you can just see the talent!they sound as perfect as a recording...Agnetha sings this so perfect!!!!! thank u for the vid, by the way this is from Wimbley, London 79'...the cloths in the us were purple...

  • THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC , ABBA !!!

  • Agnetha rarely wore outfits low cut in the back.Their manager didn't want the tattoo on her left shoulder blade exposed.

    just kiddimg!!!!!!!

  • Excellent! Perfect voices!!!

  • have the vocals been digitally enhanced, or is this really what they sound like "without a net"? (I saw Linda Ronstadt live, and she sounded just as good as in the studio, i'm guessing ABBA is the same?)

  • they played wembley 6 nights, i've liked abba since mama mia FIRST came out way back, but never liked to this song til now, seeing it has a lot to do with it, what a GREAT show wembley must have been to see, and some live songs I like even better

  • Such incredible voices!

  • They're insanely good live!!! WOW

  • Wow, now Abba fan, i finally discovered their perfect harmony & beautiful voices. Tell me is this pronounced accenting the 2 t's or is it pronounced like chuiquitita banana? (chuiquita?)

  • It's pronounced like chick-a-t-ta. By the way it's nice to hear from another NC resident.

  • Björn looks like Luke Skywalker....

  • What a pleasure to listen to Agnetha`s voice at the very beginning of the song!

    Thank you for posting!

  • I don't think this is from Wimbley. There's another video on another channel that's totally different from this one. It doesn't look like anything from the USA tour I've seen either. If those are the only choices it would have to be Copenhagen.

  • I don't know where the show was but this is a great video.

  • It´s from London, Wembley Arena 1979.

  • You could be right, but the stage is set up differently than the other Wembley videos. That's what makes me wonder about the venue.
