This game was god, but the bosses were practically none existant. the final boss I'd probably pass it as a stratigic type boss, but the overlord 1 final boss was much better exicuted for the overlord series.

@ChaosDarkWolf13 Didn't need bosses as the game focused on strategy against multiple opponents with certain skills and difficulties, Besides that there were boss fights. The first Florian semi boss fight, The Nordberg Regent, the spider queen semi boss fight, the island reagent and so on and so forth, most areas had two boss fights. As for overlord 1 final boss, both seem on par for different reasons. In my opinion it was a well rounded game that got rid of some minor stuff but it was still fun!

@oceangod14, make sure you have enough lifeforce to summon enough minions to get them. Also make sure you have enough light crystals and dark crystals orslt. Light crystals and lifeforce can eb gathered fairly easy by killing gnomes in the Everlight place, where Juno was. Gnomes give you easy lifeforce with mass and light crystals. other way to get lifeforce is by domianting most of Everlight town and let them make you lifeforce in the booths.

I hope you saved the reciet; because once you beaten the game, there will be nothing left to do. Unless you like to collect gold or watch minions get drunk, then it will be no problem for you. It is a good game, but the motivation to play it again goes down in time.

There is an infinite brown, red and green lifeforce supply at the everlight facility. Go there. Fill up on browns and go to the first gnome spawning prison thingy. The gnomes never stop coming so infinite lifeforce.

For blue go to the wasteland sanctuary and kill the gnomes with salamanders.

Well, the game is actually totally prepared for DLC. The 1.01 version of the game does have an option in the main menu titled "Downloadable Content" and the developers all pretty much say "Yes, we're makin' it".

Well, technically Velvet could still have been the canon mistress. Though it wasn't shown, I'm sure the Overlord and Rose could've had some fun before Velvet got into the picture. And if Rose didn't want to raise Overlord the II in the tower, it could've been 'cause she was pissed a his father, or because she suffered from some dilusion of a 'good' upbringing.

I thought from her dialogue and talks of "Order" it's more out of the fact that she didn't want her son to become the one to be corrupted by power. She decides that maybe the Overlord is a necessary evil to bring down douchebags like Florian, who she may have actually helped (seeing as she's Marius' wife and apparently a part of the Sentinels).

The reson Gnarl "betrayed" you is that the Minions had no Overlord to serve so they helped you because they think the old Overlord got killed. So in the first game in the last mission the old Overlord came back and Gnarl and possibly the Miniuns went back to his side. So technicly he didn't turn against you. I haven't played the last mission in the first game but i have seen a lot of of the missions on YouTube.

Gnarl would be easy to kill if he tries to over throw the Overlord, unless he influences the minions to fight for him, leaving you on your own to fight him.

I've been trying for some time to get the Domination ending, but it's kinda impossible.

Toward the end there's this elf rebellion and I can't find a way to resolve the problem through domniation.

use the spider for the last plattform. They will get scared and jump off. You then get the mission solved as domination

The way to get complete domination or destruction alignment (and Its endings) should be a little more intuitive, I think. More "Would you like to destroy/ conquer the city or enslave/ kill this particular character" and less "Search every damn villager in the town". Except for that, this game is great, beter than Overlord 1.

Overdad(if you've played the Expansion to the first ,Raising hell) is well ... in an Infernal Abyss where Wraith tried to escape and he is the ruler of that place after defeating the god that ruled there(Forgotten God).

And Velvet... I don't know. I got the Velvet ending and was expecting to see her as well.

Personally, the only thing I found lacking was the story(wasn't as epic as the first) and the side-quests are I can easily count on my fingers.

Nah Gnarl had nothing to do with it. Solarius (that emporer) wanted power and so he toke all kind of items from the previous overlord in that old tower. However he accidently made the Tower Heart explode. Later you (as the new overlord) will have to gather that heart shards and charge it back up. After that you will use it against the empire's city. However Solarius then absorbed the remains of the power in his container and toke it himself, result is that big blue slug.
