  • Ha ha, we call our Boston Terrier, Jasmine "Little Piggy." Because she has a snout and she snorts XD

  • Doesn't that mean she was taken away from her mother too soon? :(

  • @BayTheBostonTerrier Not at all. She was 9 weeks when she was taken away. Most adult dogs are dried up at that time. My other boston was taken away at 6 weeks from his momma because she had no more milk and wanted nothing to do with her puppies.

  • What a cutie!!!!

  • That is so cute!

  • Clementine is so cute!

My Boston (Rocky) has always sucked on his stuffed toys and the edges of his pillow beds. He'll be 6 on Halloween. He doesn't do the paw motion, but can suck on his favorite stuffed toy for hours before he will fall asleep doing it. I've always thought it's a sign he was weened too early.

    I absolutely adore Bostons!

  • my dog peanut does that but he only does it to socks only socks nothing else

  • my willie ( male) does this every time he's stressed out. it's crazy- we have to make sure all of his toys have noses or heads he can suck on.

  • I have a male boston and he's done this with blankets. He used to drag around an old king size comforter until it was shredded from sucking and chewing on it. I had my mom make him his own "baby" blanket he's hilarious with it.

  • OMG my boston terrier Fynn has the EXACT same pig and has nursed it since the day he got it! toooooo funny!

  • My dog Tobey does this and he is around 4 years old. When he gets up in the morning and when we let him out of his crate it is like 20 minute chew.

  • My Boston Terrier, would suck on his pig toy and sleep, he would do exactly that and then have it in his mouth sucking while sleeping.

  • @BossMadOne my boston did that too!

  • nursing on her ninner. baking bisquits. making bread.

  • you're right, @charzarg They're nursing after the fact, its a sign that they were taken from the mom too early, not weened enough, it's also a sign of pent up energy in my boy when he does it.

  • She is gutting. It gets all they're stress out.. My friends dogs chews up all her toys and pillows... Sometimes they whimper or "cry" while they do it.

  • Our dog does this too, and its ten times the size of that dog.

It's when they get broody (if they're not spayed.. I assume she isn't?) And they treat it as a baby.

  • @charzarg she is of course spayed and what she is doing is nursing.

  • @PirateGenevieve at any rate its cute ^^

  • My Boston Terrier does this too! Except see rows her dog bed :p

    Boston's Rock!

  • mine does this too! except its like he is playing pin ball because he grabs the ball and alternates flexing his toes on it

  • I have 2 bostons and they both do this on stuffed animals a blanket whatever they can ball up and suck on its very comforting to them

  • They do that when you first get them think of there mom. (it is ture!)

  • She is suckling it, my friend's Boston does that

  • My Boston Ginger does this as well. It is a form of nursing. Kitten often do this. It reduces stress. Ginger has a big Teddy and when it's bed time I say go get your nunnie. She brings the Teddy to bed and kneads it while mouthing it. I think it is so sweet. Just like a puppy. Ginger is now 4 and still does this every night. We get a new bear every year at the after Valentine's day Sales. I love all of Clementine's Videos keep them coming.

  • What a beautiful little girl. BTs are so precious.

  • kneeding i believe like nursing...

i have a red and white boston as well, ahah hes sleeping and farting right next to me. :D

  • My Boston Jadie had that same pig, now it is demolished !! LOL!!

  • thats so cute!

  • HAHAHA my Ellie does the same thing but her toy is a beaver lol

  • What a sweetie! One of my bostons does the same thing.

  • My Boston Terrier who's 3 has done this since he's a puppy. They're nursing like they did on their mother to get milk.

    She's beautiful! :)

  • My Bitsy does exactly the same thing. Except she nurses her splash balls from the pool. Some haven't even made it to the pool! What's more weird is she has her mouth far open around it like a snake that has it's head squeezed to make his fangs squirt venom into a cup. Pf ha ha

  • Cute baby girl, rowin da pig!!! What a perfect little doggie!

  • aw clementine!!!

shes nursing!!! that row thing is how they get the milk out. she is too adorable.

  • Our Boston; Murdock Merlot, does the same thing w/his cloth toys. And then, we find out that he has tore a hole in it. We call it," Nursing his toys to death". He looks like he is nursing w/his eyes closed.

  • down2organs, Your boston has the same middle name as my tuxedo cat--Merlot! Very Cool! We are bringin home 2 bt pups in January.

  • our giant dog does that too except he sucks on a pillow so hard it looks like hes biting it and he does the same thing with his paws.. how funny

  • OMG she is too cute!!! I can't wait to get a Boston in the spring!! It looks to me like she is "kneading" (probably not a technical term) her pig ... it's what pups do to their mom when they're nursing to push the milk down ... she must really love her pig!!!
