Although the Inventor safely stays away from saying it . . . this is a Perpetual Motion Machine. So far all Perpetual motion machines eventually stop due to physics saying it is impossible to move forever without using Energy. But I am soooo curious as to HOW LONG this thing will run !!!!!!!!! i think it is related to the coil inside the generater. the coil behave as an inductor.when it shorts,the coil release the stored energy by the fleming law of electromagnetic induction. this drive ithe induction motor to rotate which cause acceleration

You shouldn't need a bunch of MIT associates to tell you that the principle behind it- getting more energy out of a universe (system of objects) than you put into it- is impossible (unless there's a change in state from matter to energy).

So his device is essentially a highly efficcient gear device that doesn't slow down in a two minute clip (but will eventually slow down due air and gear resistance).

We all know about conservation of energy stuff which is very logical. (At least to our 'current logic')

But this guy is basically demonstrating that he can obtain more output by reinjecting Back EMF in the system. Nobody talked about over unity !

It seems the induction motor is not strong enough to combat the load initially

but with additional Flux, becomes powerfull enough to accelerate the system.

This man needs to demonstrate his machine on a glass table. Forget the ohm meter, volt meter and tachometer. Get rid of the spaghetti wiring near the "induction motor." This thing won't work. He has it plugged into the wall. He just won't show us the plug. Perpetual motion is a myth. The United States Patent Office will not even consider an application for a perpetual motion machine with out a working model. Since 1900 none have been forthcoming.

I'm scientist and I know how to explain this machine. He has adapted the power of an enormous dynamo placed at some distance from his laboratory/machine shop. When this dynamo is activated the electrons from it cause his machine to spin and perhaps even to useful work. This dynamo is at the local power station and he "activates" it by plugging a hidden wire into the wall receptacle. Only rubes believe this foolishness.

Yes it WAS PLUGGED INTO THE WALL.. It was a constant or what you call a "Control" in a scientific experiment. The "VARIABLE" is the inductive load that's generating current and HOW IT AFFECTS THE MOTOR'S OPERATING SPEED. He NEVER ONCE SAID "Oh wow! Look! When coils are shorted it creates "impedance mismatch" between source and load resulting in load reflecting virtually all the power back into the source which channels it back to motor via ferrous material in coupler - which induces the acceleration. The spinning wheel becomes an energy STORAGE device storing more and more kinetic energy as it spins faster with no way to dissipate it. Will continue until centrifugal forces tear it apart.

The device is not PRODUCING energy. It is STORING it!

if this system maintains a certain voltage and speed, what about the resistance of the drive shaft? It's not possible to have a mechanical resistance of zero, there is always loss due to drag, friction, etc. even if it maintains itself at a certain speed, it will never maintain that forever... could be minutes ordays before it slows down to a stop, but it still makes far from perpetual motion. "Lisa, how many times have I told you that in this house, we obey the laws of thermodynamics!"

There is no perpetual motion claim here.

The motor turns *faster* under the *same* power input when he allows the Back EMF to enter the system.

The motor is running more efficiently, getting more RPM, but there is still power to the prime mover. There is re-introduction of the Back EMF into the system. But not enough to disconnect power. It is simply a slightly more efficient motor now.

When you change the coils connections, you increases or decreases the brake. He does not show the speed with no iron of the coils in front of the rotating magnets. A proof is that this free speed is higher than any others.

It would more convincing showing his lawnmover cutting grass with no power cord or battery !!

A shunt-wound dc motor doesn't slow down under load - no magnets needed. It will continue at whatever field power is fed, no mater what the armature needs to draw to maintain speed. Also, only mentioning volts and not amps means you have not presented any measure of power.

If the Law of Conservation of Energy were true, everything would fall apart at the atomic level. There is energy that exists at the atomic level that we can tap into, such as Nuclear Energy. I assume that you are referring to nuclear fission/fusion. These are not, in fact, "free" energy, rather, they are the result of converting a very small amount of matter to energy via the equation "Energy = Mass x (Speed of Light)Squared" -- Einsteins famous E=mc^2 equation.
