my reaction to Jasper Batt Jr. on all 3 difficulties

Sweet: Too easy

Mild: Ok he's pretty hard

Okay, here are my reasons why Jasper Batt, Jr. from No More Heroes 2 gets #1:

1. HE DOESN'T SHUT UP.

2. He can now teleport and punch you three times if you don't dodge correctly.

3. After you lower his HP enough, he starts spamming an annoying move called the "Hurricane Punch" which is nearly impossible to dodge and can hurl you out the window if you are standing close enough to it.

I have a theory...

Jasper was intended as punnishment for the player buying No More Heroes 2, and killing so many people. I mean, from what I've gathered, that's kind of the game's moral, isn't it? That killing people is bad, even if it's in a video game...

Neko Shogun really saved my ass in the #2 boss fight. It was still long but at least I had the moves and resistances to survive. Players ought to try and fuse him by that point in the game for easier battles.

What annoyed me the most about the Jasper Batt Jr fight was that Henry stood in the corner and DID NOTHING to help the entire time. After getting my ass kicked multiple times, seeing him like that made me want to kill him as well.

My most annoying bosses have to be the two secret bosses it kingdom hearts birth by sleep reborn venitas and the mysterious figure. Reborn venitas is impossible to beat unless your over lvld and if you aren't he kills you in ONE SHOT. He only has one bar of health but don't let that fool you he's got so much defense its not funny.

If it's any consolation, there is a trick most people don't know about that can make the fight with Jasper significantly less difficult: you can cheat death by repeatedly shaking remote and nunchuk during the death animation, and you will recover some of your health. The catch is that you can only do it a few times per fight (and you gain less health every time you do so) and you can't do it if you've been thrown out the window. He's still an annoying bastard, though.

I liked the videos. most annoying for me is the submarine boss fight in Star Fox 64. ugh long level and by the time you reach the end youv lost alot of health. Your list deffinetly looked annoying though. lol good job beating em.

I'd say that Jinpachi from Tekken 5 is easily the most annoying boss I've ever fought, because he can stun you for 5 seconds anytime he wants and when you're attacking, he has a habit of teleporting out of the way just before you hit him and immediately firing his strongest beam at you.

It's the fact that as the years of gaming goes on, the difficulty and annoyance has seemed to decrease. If people consider these to be tough bosses, ok then. As someone who grew up on NES and spends their time playing older games, I personally feel that everything is getting too easy, and that it's the developers who feel that everything has to be babied.

@GigaHands To me, yeah, it is bad. I like having annoying enemies. I like enemies that frustrate the hell out of me. Why? Cause it's a challenge. Cause it adds fun. If there were no annoying enemies or sections in a game and it was all one straight easy run, that's not fun. That's me being babied. That's me wasting $60.

If an enemy is annoying, then you're forced to undo your previous strategy. You're forced to actually try to think your way past him. That's fun.

@Shuda51 Then the word you're looking for isn't "annoying". That's "challenging", "difficult", or something similar. It's the sort of thing that makes you the "good" kind of frustrated, in the same way that watching a good sad movie makes you the "good" kind of sad.

Anyway, there's an enemy called Big Eye in Mega Man. Randomly jumps high or low. If it jumps low you can't run past. Entirely luck if you get by no damage. Is this fun? No. Is this challenging? No, it's luck. This is ANNOYING.

@GigaHands It's not luck. I've played and beaten Mega Man 1. Big Eye requires some skill. Namely the fact that YOU CAN SHOOT HIM TO DEATH. Just shoot him until he dies, then GG.

And if you mention the ones on short platforms, most of the time, that's near a conveniently placed pit o' death.

The only annoying enemy I can think of that isn't fun to try to figure out how to beat would be Medusa heads, especially on the hallway before Death in Castlevania 1. But those can easily be dealt with by having the Triple Shot and the Cross.

My personal most annoying boss. Hmmm, that has to go Caina 1st fight. She doesn't have a crap-ton of health, but thats the only reason you probably won't see her on any of these lists. She is fucking vicious, her Gate of Isolde attack not only does heinous damage for that point in the game, but it inflicts a shitload of status ailments not the least of which are disease and silence and HITS YOUR WHOLE GODDAMN TEAM!

@zachattack2202 In the Midnight Channel, the heavy amounts of fog cause travellers to become exhausted or even fall ill because of it. Teddie, one of the player characters, can make glasses which expel the fog and improve the wearer's eyesight and distance of visibility.
