@DemonRuby since I'm planning on performing Spellbound in a few weeks, I've been looking up their live videos and dikeroc is right, Andrea isn't that good. He hits most (but not all) of the notes, but his voice is very harsh too. Once he gets to the higher notes in his songs, he just puts a lot of heat into his words cause he can't hit them clean. If you comment or I remember, I'll send a link in 6 weeks if we get a video recorded :)

First time watching a video featuring this band, and much to what other people are saying, that lead male vocalist is terrible. I assumed he had some sort of integral role in the bad (like playing an instrument), but since he's just that horrible droning noise I hear on the recordings, he's pretty much pointless. I laugh most of the time at this vocals since he can barely enunciate the lyrics, let alone speak English properly. Their sound isn't anything special; their songs sounds rather similar

Christina and the rest of the band are awesome if it wasn't for "him" their music would be sooo much better. It's like they just let some random dude come up on stage and just yell into the mircrophone. I'm a fan of the band , I am seen them live and I love their music and her voice but his awful fucking voice ruins every song it's in. How anyone can think he sounds good is beyond me. Listen to the band Katatonia and you'll wish their singer was in Lacuna with Christina, would be AMAZING.

Theyre all standin around cuz its prolly another metal festival or a show they did with a couple of metal bands...People that came to listen to screaming and growling bands like In flames arent gonna get into this. If theyre gonna keep playin those metal shows they have to stick with the same 5 or 6 head banging songs they have. To the edge etc...

Theyre so not a metal band though. Theyre much better when they headline a show...fans go nuts even for the ballads!!!!

I don't like this song as I do with the other singles off of ComaLies, (I don't hate it, I just don't hold it up to standards with Entwined, swamped, unspoken, tightrope, ect) but when I hear it live I like it better. Live songs are far better.

Can anyone give a recomendation on an L.C. song that would make someone say " Oh, I understand why they have that 2nd singer dude in the band"? quite frankly, For the little amount of singing he does (not to mention how poorly), I dont understand why they just don't get a guitar/bass player who can play and sing.

He is the one who made the band Lacuna Coil! Without him we wouldn't have our fave band! And without him the band would be just another "female-singer" band (like WT) they just won't stand out as much.

OK fair point and yes he was with the band from the beginning but the problem is his vocals make the arena act they are sound like a bad pub band. The two singer thing does give them a different sound but it doesn't work well live because he isnt able to pull off his parts well enough
