yeah it was so much better back in the days but i think once they realised in the event of accidents some of the pit crew were losing the skin from their legs, they decided against the cool shorts look.... having said that i think its so bloody aimed at safety in every aspect to such a degree that its just boring to watch now days,

@CarpMagic95 yeah, they banned Turbos because the power to weight ratio made them dangerous. F1 is SUPPOSED to be dangerous. F1 is so boring now that even a journeyman hack like Webber can challenge for the title

A) he has by far the fastest carout there

B) Pure luck his car has survived all his accidents this year (of which he has had more than anyone else out there)

He'll still lose cos he isn't very good, can't overtake, and always chokes.

I think that was in Brazil in 91 when Ayrton found that his body had seized up after clinging on the lead with only 6th gear as the rain began to fall. A truely epic grand prix finish although most people failed to notice that he wasn't changing gear at the time. Eerie but cool, perhaps.
