  • u do realize if u don't stop screwing around with that thing ur gonna leave wal mart and pull into a van halen concert one day

  • Man, I'd Kill for a Delorean!

  • You going to make the mr.fusion version

  • how many deloreans you have?

  • Sorry if I missed something but the first thing that jumped out at me was that the big air vents on yours are silver when they are clearly black in the movie. Are you planning on painting it? Just curious because you didn't adress it in this video.

Excellent work all around though! :-)

  • YOU PAY SO MUCH ATTENTION TO DETAIL

    AMAZING STUFF BRO

  • I do not know if anyone covered this, but in the movies, the cars were prone to overheating due to the props mounted on the back, if something was to go wrong with the engine, how would you be able to access the engine?

  • Comment removed

  • Sorry, disregard my last post. Commented too early before your demonstration of how you access the engine deck.

Might I add, very clever how you managed to access the engine.

  • Question: How do you service and maintain the engine, are the engine vents and customisation easy enough to remove to access the engine?

  • i never kenw know the the motors in back XD shows what i know

  • great scott! $200 for just those parts!?

  • 2:46 I see another DeLorean in the background, then another (untouched) to the side.

DAMN! How many of them things do you have!?!? I hope at least two of them are fake, because DMC-12s are fuckin' expensive.

  • I would be the nutty guy trying to make it really work

some of the movie's theories were sound

  • awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

  • GREAT MODEL

  • I'm a massive fan of the films. Where do you get your knowlesge from about the films and cars. Your car looks amazing i cant believe the detail and work you have done.

  • There is a scene in the second movie when the Delorean lands in 2015. The vents on the back look different they dont cover the lights.

  • That would be the Fiberglass car. They did some really "odd" things on that car. It even had cast fiberglass seats to save on weight.

  • you know whats sucks about this? if it rains when you are out driving your fucked because it would ruin all the stuff on the back

  • Not necessarily. I've driven my car in the rain a couple times. I've modified the original film car design to incorporate a sealed bulkhead in the back window. Also, the rain and natual weathering actually makes the car look more "real" in my mind. I just hate when I go to carshows and they expect the car to look cherry perfect.

  • @snower5554 Yeah cuz metal & plastic gets ruin by rain...

  • How much did this DeLorean Cost, with out all the conversion parts on it?

  • I dont think its too expensive since they are back in production but still allot of money

  • nice video i always wondered how do you open the engine bay.

  • Good Job Man! Nice Car!

  • the real name of this guy is Doc Brwon Junior

    heheheh

  • Fucking COOL.....

  • What was your major in college?

  • Would you believe I have a Bachelor of Architecture degree?

  • @BTTFParts it explain all , i'm too

  • man if i ever put a motor in the back of my scirocco i'll put vents just like that!

  • i have an un boxed smoke machine that u can use inside of the vents

  • thats the shit DUDE

  • @yapuza no bad language on youtube!!

  • so there real cooling vents

  • they let hot air out of the engine, yes

  • Damn that's genius!.. great work!

  • hermoso auto, excelente replica

  • where did you get your deloreans?

  • The DeLorean Motor company actually started back up again and they sell new/used DeLoreans...and i want one :D

  • I wish I has a DeLorean...

  • Reminds me of Jared Fogle.

  • Oh man, I really don't care for Subway. I'm more a Quiznos man myself.

    -Gary

  • Hah..well, Quiznos is definitely better, I'll agree..and by the way, how much, if I can ask, do you put into these cars? That may be a personal question. Thanks.

  • SUPER BUENO

  • You are one of the greatest men ever to live =)

    Right on dude.

  • Hi, I was planing to make a "realistic" replica like yours, unlike some of the other delorean's out there. By the way great job so far! But my question was, what is the rough cost to convert a DeLorean? Or the cost at how ever far you are into the project.Thanx for your time. Your pal in time Hunter

  • Wheeeee, an update. I still love your cars, they are awesome and thanks for showing them to me the other day XD

  • I told you I had one in the works :) Now I just gotta finish all the pretty exterior lights before Halloween.

  • Looking better each time!!!

    Keep us updated!!

  • hey gary,

just to let u know this is need input from ur site. this is completely ingenious..... if i can gather up all the money i'd love to pay u to convert my car.... cuz nothing is as good as of a product of the hands of an expert. Keep up the great work

  • This is really nice congrats on a great looking replica car. I always enjoy seeing these thing done right.

  • Cool, good solution!

  • yes!!! long time but i keep you in my list nice to see some new video of this car. 5/5

  • Great ScoTT! Its About Time!(Travel..lol) We missed you, Great great update! genuis mind on work, keep it up! Truly luv it! 5/5 stars

  • Yeah, that's what working full time and then moving to another city will do for your time machine conversion :) I've also been working on a series of smaller parts for the car which don't really lend themselves to Video Updates. I'll cover all those pieces later once the car is done. -G

    -Gary

  • NICE!!! I want a freakin De Lorean lol, I actualy want two, One to keep in its original state, and the other to transform into a BTTF De Lorean. I'm not sure which version I want though, Its either going to be the first BTTF De Lorean or BTTF2 De Lorean. Maybe Ill be different and turn it into the western version of it from BTTF 3 lol. We'll see. untill then thanks for all the info you post up on your videos!

  • I can actually swap out part of the Nuclear Reactor core and put in the MR Fusion/Mounting plate. I prefer the part I 1985 style myself. The Mr Fusion is just to plain detailing wise.

  • i swear you gotta work in movies fabricating set pieces O_o this is about the coolest thing i've ever seen and i'm hooked.

keep updating =) can't wait to see it when it's finished.

  • Those vents are great. Fantastic Work Mate!

  • Thanks. I'm really stoked with how the vent slides turned out. I think it's one of the first cars I've seen that have really addressed the issue. I know other cars have modified the vents so they clear the fascia without doing stuff like that. Infact, Universal Studios modified the film car after the movies so they could get to the engine easily. -G

  • Where do I get one of those shirts?

  • I picked that up from someone a few months ago. They are the shirts used on the BTTF Ride at Universal. Its a good 10 years old. Needless to say I don't wear it much. -G

  • fun man!!! How much $ have you put into this cas so far?

  • Oh boy... Thats a good question. The Delorean was about $17 after necessary upgrades. The bare aluminum vent parts are easily 2-3k and then I have to add on stuff like the reactor and wires and other stuff. These cars are easily in the $45k-$65k range if done correctly.

  • not a bad price

  • love it period
