This is my favorite X game its fun, hard as hell when you play it the first time, good graphics, cutscenes, voice acting (The US voices sucks so I prefer the Japanese version), you can play as both X or Zero, that was a game.

From good to bad this are the order of the best X games:

Maybe if they left the instrumental version it would fit more, I like the song but I agree that the lyrics dont fit really. The american version is just ok, kinda happy and a little "kickass", but the opening is kinda lying with that mood. After completing the game and watching the opening after that, you just notice that all of this was depressing

I like both the US intro and this. The Japanese had much better voice actors. The English cutscenes are those dubs where even though the orignal music is present and the words are accurate, its still ruined with horrible voices.

A lo que voy es que el opening en Japonés tiene más sentimiento, cuadra perfecto con la historia entre Zero y Iris, además la música se sincroniza muy bien con la animación, por ello es que me atrevo a decir que el opening Japonés y en general los ROCKMAN (no Megaman) son de lo mejor. X sounded like Disney's Doug Funnie, Zero...sounded like an old man or something, and Axl sounds like a young Rosie O' Donnell. Don't know about the rest but Tornado Tunion's voices annoys me lot. But aside from that the game was horrible because of the 2D to 3D design and sluggish movement. Even the horrible loading times.

This opening is actually very reminiscent of anime intros of the time. The final shot with all of the characters and the shadowy figure of the villain behind them was used in practically all of the Slayers openings, as well as others.

Mega Man 8's intro is similar in style too. I wish they'd made more like these.
