hahaha. im fully luvin this amp. i live new zealand and it cost me a shit load just to get my grubby mitts onto one. now my back-breaker qsc5050 takes a back seat as i choose the crown over qsc any day. keen crown fan with the k1 & k2 plus nice to see in one of your other vids you've got the dbx drive rack pa(awesome dsp)...but i enjoy the fact that the amp is only 2ru in size which is superb when rolling from gig to gig

i work for a sound company and we were using alto amps and it started pouring and we didnt have time to cover them up and they got full of water, well we just turned them over turned them on and they still work today. PS: your right steve crown amps will never die if you treat them right but iif they do die theyre good boat anchors since3 theyre so heavy haha

Good basic amps value priced amps I have a few, for the BIG dog amps the iTech and MacroTech are the way to go.

The iTech can work on 240V ,I have mine on a 240V appliance outlet...40AMPS at 240V ...juice.

I like the QSC PLX2 better ,slightly more expensive. better built, more output. The equivalent if the MacroTech's the PowerLight 380 are beasts.

These are the best amps on the market for portable / pro sound. I have 2 of these XTI 4000's bridged to JBL MRX 528's and it is the tightest of lows I have heard in a long time (due to the damping factor being >500). I think the XTI series of Crown amps are some of their best products produced in the last 20 years. Plus, as meade916 shows in this video, their customer service is top-notch!

Crown amps stomp~ I have 2 XTi4000's hooked up to my JBL SRX738's 3 ways with 18" woofer and a JBL SRX728S dual 18" sub..... you gotta have your sound processing though~ I'm using an Aphex 204 Exciter with optical low-end processing. Also, these amps have an on-board sub-harmonic synthesizer which does well in bridge mode running subs.

Hola, no te olvides que la Crown tiene mas de 50 años fabricando Power, si es que no lo sabias, y hay manos de ingenieros en electronica,y sus aparatos pasan por un control de calidad. si no fuera asi no tubieran tantos años fabricando estos aparatos, que la gente los instale mal, ho lo sobre carge de bajos y no les pones los adecuado, y lo que hacen es sonar BUM BUM por exceso de bajos y dañarle las salida, ya es otra cosa. primero investiga mas de Crown antes de decir lo que no es. saludos

Anyway Crown XTi's are very loud, clean and awesome... the China factory ones are just as good or better than the older USA made ones. XTi2's on teh way also ... but the same amp different cover and new DSP & software.

whatsup man! I used the behringer for two reasons, one i needed to get RCA from the deck to XLR on the amps - at the time thats the only way i knew how. Now i have different tricks of course.
