I think I remember seeing you on TV, What an honor to have Hedy Lamarr introduce you. This was such a catchy song. You just want to sing along. Nice performance, Eddie!
Oh my, Hedy...I still have an autograph photo of her....the most beautiful woman ever in cinema! She introduces Ed....amazing footage...we love it...5*
You might not appreciate the different arrangement used for purposes of this TV show, but Eddie Rambeau's original 45 rpm recording of "Concrete and Clay" is a great version and the one I like best overall.
Nothing wrong with the arrangement or indeed the performance, it's just not as good as any of the other versions I've heard - Unit 4+2, Randy Edelmann, Cliff Richard, Martyn Plaza, etc.
Thanks for the sample Rosemarie!!!

What a wonderful job you do on Concrete and Clay, I have sung that song out loud and in my head since you released it back in the 60s.
However, my all time favorite Eddie Rambeau song remains, My name is mud.!!!
Keep on going Ed.
