@LightFykki Criterion Collection is a North American DVD publisher that releases fantastic classic and world cinema. Masters of Cinema is the British equivalent.
If you are a big fan of cinema, you are bound to run into these companies sometime.
@Aerodynamisch Ah, so it is a N. American publisher? Thanks, now I see why I haven't bumbed into it, because I mostly look for these kinds of DVDs from UK. Then again, these ones are expensive from there sometimes, so maybe I should take a look at the other publisher too.
Thankfully these days there are region 0 DVD players so I don't have to worry about region code..
@LightFykki Yea, if you are interested in some movies from Criterion. Order from Barnes and Noble in November. They have a 2 for 1 sale. International shipping is pricey but outweighs the price. Criterion themeselves are ridiculously expensive.
One Criterion DVD is about 10 - 15 euro even with that epic sale. But as a hardcore fanatic of movies and the quality of them, they are worth it.
Without Criterion Is was unable to watch all the movies of Akira Kurosawa!
Makioka Sisters is incredible, as is the whole Criterion library - makes me want to raid their collections.

Excellent collection.
I love the Japanese films you picked up. One of my favorites is "When a Woman Ascends the Stairs."
That film is such a class act!

@JazzyZenBrotha Thanks a lot! When a Woman Ascends the Stairs is a great movie. I really enjoy the Mikio Naruse movies.

Pretty nice pick ups, you always manage to surprise us with many new movies there.
And I am little bit confused about Criterion collection.. I am not sure do I understand quite what it is.
Also thanks for the last touch there at the end and don't worry about not posting videos, glad that you are back now. :)
