  • What is bad about tomato is that there is no Atheros Processor/Chipset suport so none of the TP-Links are suported, only open-wrt does it,i really like it if tomato have better suport :/

  • 1 more thing fck gay guys.,,....

  • does this work with a dlink router?

  • thx really helped me with this i have my linksys router but its not wireless though

  • can i kick people off my network whit tommato

  • @mysystems why not just change password on ur network? or you can enable a thing so you need to allow the devices to connect to ur router...

  • i dont want to keep changing password. i was thinking something like one click mac filltering or something like that.

  • @mysystems yea you can block all incoming mac addresses so if u want a device to come in to ur network u most logg into ur router and allow the devices mac address =)

  • I prefer DD-WRT

  • Hi there.

Just purchased a WRT54GL Router and trying to put Tomato Firmware on i

So I click the download link and it Shows up in WinRaR, and then I extract the WRT54G_WRT54GL.bin file to my desktop, is that right?

The problem is it shows up on my desktop as a VLC media file?

    Is that supposed to happen?

    Thanks

  • That is precisely what is suppose to happen.

  • @GSAbotBumblebee it just because it is a .bin and vlc thinks it might be a dvd rip. it isnt a problem.

  • Nice
