Just as a little follow up (sorry i'm limited in characters)
If he did angle his spectators in the fashion where he "appeared" to put his arm through the glass but really didn't, originally, from the camera's POV nothing would be seen going through the glass. That would mean his arm was edited in later.
But that doesn't explain how the watch disappeared from the little podium, unless that was a graphics edit as well.
Either way, if you read my last post, i don't believe he uses edits.

The watch displayed on the extreme left is not really a watch on the podium. It's the glass cut in a similar shape, resembling a watch on the podium from the camera angle we see it from. Notice David putting his hand through exactly the same spot. It's the camera angle that does the trick!
When he took the watch off her wrist, he kept it in his sleeve. Then when he was "reaching into the glass" he was really just pulling his arm up into his sleeve to get the watch, while using the newspaper to cover an assistant on the other side of the glass whose arm that really was. He pulled the watch out, gives it to the lady and tada!

no, im talking bollocks, he doesnt palm watch off at all, it is in his possesion all the time, the watch in the shop is an identical copy. assistant hidden in shop window extends his hand at the same time blaine appears to reach in for it, his arm is hidden by the newspaper, blaine simply tucks his arm into jacket to make it appear that it is actually extending into shop. palms real watch into hand when he takes his arm out of jacket sleave. watch it again. i guarantee thats how he does it.

If you watch closely you will see that he puts hss back to the end of the shop window to hide the guy inside, he slips the watch into his hand and as the hand advances to the paper he bends his arm away to create the hand through the glass trick, timing is vital and if you watch the shop window you will see the shadow of the guy inside waiting to do the hand trick, its not magic, its a trick but a good one! enjoy!
All i can add on to is the theory of david passing the watch to the strange man in the begining. It could be possible after he steals the watch from her wrist, he hands it to the guy in the blue shirt below the camres view, the man in blu then passes off the watch to the strange man.The reason i think this is, is bkuz b4 the weird man goes out of the shot the man in blu turns toward him and blocks the spectators view with his bak. Plenty of time after he grabs the watch, you see him put it below camera so it can be taken away - the guy who crosses in back maybe? Then someone runs it into the shop window.
With the glass, it slides to the right, putting a hole (once hidden on the left side behind the wall) behind the paper. Then when the watch is grabbed through the hole, they slide the window back while he keeps the paper there. Eh!?

This is how I think it went...There are 2 watches. And all of the 3 persons are acting. The man in blue is clearly involved as he already watches the window from 0:47, from the first moment he can see it, and even before Blaine said anything about stopping there and @2:32 he touches a totally different part as where the watch went through... And according to me, the most faraway watch behind the window is just an optical illusion, it's no more than a perfect shaped hole in the glass :)

heres how its done. The watch is taken from her wrist..as you know...then he approaches what looks like a shop window...or is it a big tv screen behind glass with a pre recorded hand reaching in and taking the watch :) then he pulls his hand out from behind the newsaper and give her back her watch that hes put onto the plastic watch holder while walking them to the window.

@lankball911 Look at the store window its obviously not a real store, because 1) why would you leave the window display out like that with no cage anyone could just punch the glass and take it and 2) Look at the sign thats obviously fake or just some really bad advertising.
All he does is waits for someone to walk past with a specfic model watch which he knows is in the pre set display window and just does the trick on them.

No, it really is her watch.
Notice the scene cut after he says "let's try this" at 0:39? During that scene cut, he performed a different trick. There could have been many minutes between that cut and what we see it cut into.
He palms the watch off to the "weird" guy that walks past. During the scene cut, that guy walks into the shop, and places it there.

the people and the camera didn't notice the whole store window was built to slide in its frame, the camera moved in and people didn't notice the name on the glass moving , blane covered the hole with the paper reached in grabbed watch, notice he's touching the glass, sliding the whole glass back into the frame, therefore hiding the hole. he would only have to move the glass about 12'' to 16'' to do the trick, and yes that guy walking behind her was in on it(he put the watch in the store)......

If you watch closely you will see that he puts hss back to the end of the shop window to hide the guy inside, he slips the watch into his hand and as the hand advances to the paper he bends his arm away to create the hand through the glass trick, timing is vital and if you watch the shop window you will see the shadow of the guy inside waiting to do the hand trick, its not magic, its a trick but a good one! enjoy!

All i can add on to is the theory of david passing the watch to the strange man in the begining. It could be possible after he steals the watch from her wrist, he hands it to the guy in the blue shirt below the camres view, the man in blu then passes off the watch to the strange man.The reason i think this is, is bkuz b4 the weird man goes out of the shot the man in blu turns toward him and blocks the spectators view with his bak. His body language after shows hes nervous of a present action.

Plenty of time after he grabs the watch, you see him put it below camera so it can be taken away - the guy who crosses in back maybe? Then someone runs it into the shop window.
With the glass, it slides to the right, putting a hole (once hidden on the left side behind the wall) behind the paper. Then when the watch is grabbed through the hole, they slide the window back while he keeps the paper there. Eh!?

This is how I think it went...There are 2 watches. And all of the 3 persons are acting. The man in blue is clearly involved as he already watches the window from 0:47, from the first moment he can see it, and even before Blaine said anything about stopping there and @2:32 he touches a totally different part as where the watch went through... And according to me, the most faraway watch behind the window is just an optical illusion, it's no more than a perfect shaped hole in the glass :)

heres how its done. The watch is taken from her wrist..as you know...then he approaches what looks like a shop window...or is it a big tv screen behind glass with a pre recorded hand reaching in and taking the watch :) then he pulls his hand out from behind the newsaper and give her back her watch that hes put onto the plastic watch holder while walking them to the window.
