worked for a week and another one sucked so i tried to second hand it at game but they said it was out of country or somfink so i dunno i think im just gonna go give it ta cash converters
I once bought mario power tennis for the gamecube and when ever I go to the options it says the game disc can not be read and it NEVER goes away so I returned it and got a new one
Nothing too bad really, I've had a few wierd stains. I did get one game however that looked like someone had wiped their ass on it, god knows what was stuck on the cover. I'm still afraid to touch it
Got a copy of Crazy Taxi for the DreamCast off of EBAY... yeah already looks bad. But anyway the game was covered in Block Buster Stickers... TONS OF THEM the disk actually was unbalanced and after a few minutes would cause my DreamCast to malfunction. I tried to get the stickers off the best I could but ended up scrapping the disk up all the way through... ruining it. So I bought a newer copy and it works... so yeah... DONT TRY SCRAPING OF THE STICKERS!
I've had loads of games bought used, and they all worked. except one which my friend gave me. Cold Winter. I tried playing it on my PS2 and it get's passed the Playstation logo then freezes and I haven't palyed it since and never have played it.
Oh, I have a rather unusual Horror story, about a broken game, purchased cross country at a Mom and Pop Store while attending a wedding, and not noticing it was broken till days afterwords when I tried to bring it home and play it on My console. With no way to take it back to the Store from which I had purchased it from!
In 2007, I bought a used collector's edition of Final Fantasy 12, and didn't realize I hadn't received the 2nd "extras" disc until I got home.
I brought it back, and explained my situation, so the guy says alright and puts another normal copy of ff12 on the other spindle next to the ce copy, so I decided to quit while I was ahead with that one.
I purchased recently a copy of Halo Wars and the disc was all scratched up, the center ring of the disc started peeling, it was just flat out terrible.
Luckily I returned it and got a disc in a flawless condition.
The weirdest thing I recently found was a used syringe in a Alex Kidd box. Would've been more funny if they put it in a game that comes up with 'Winners don't use drugs' but oh well.
Otherwise I've been pretty lucky and most stuff has worked perfectly, or worked with a little effort. Some games do come in just outragiously filthy.
i think im one of the lucky ones because every time i buy a used game i cant tell the difference between it and a brand new one, meaning that the previous owner kept it in preety good condition or just plan didnt use it.
I went to a Hollywood Video to get some Pokemon game for my Game Cube (its an oldie but a goodie), and when I got home and put it in, it had tons and tons of scratches! It was terrible! I had to go back to HV to get it un-scratch-etissed.
I found that a used game i purchased had a scratch on the case. This isn't very uncommon, so I went ahead and opened it, and the back of the disk was black- not from the CD being black, but someone colored the disk black with a permanent marker.
One time I bought a game from Gamestop. I believe it was... Tenchu Z? What ever... anyways, upon opening the case i noticed that the game had a big hole in it, as well as tons of scratches made by a knife. I noticed a bulge under the manual. I lifted it up and to my surprise i found a pocket knife, As if to mock me for spending my hard earned money... but oh well, I went back, got another one, and got a free pocket knife out of it. :D
I had one that had no DATA at all. and it was Activison Game Collection for PS2.
