@donnyab From what I know, megapixels only really count when you're blowing up large scale prints. 10 MP should be plenty to still give you a good 8x10 print.
definitely not you, this interviewer reminds me of our staged middle school video production class interviews. Somebody fire this guy already, worst line of questioning ever
I finally made up my mind; my first DSLR is not going to be the Nikon D80 (I rather spend the 150€ saved on the vertical grip with some spare batteries), instead it shall be the very promising Pentax K10D.
Say, I still use a bridge cam called the Fujifilm FinePix S9500 that has a fixed 28-300mm f2.8-4.9 lens and would like to know whether it would be worth spending 680€ on the DA smc16-50mm f2.8 lens. Help!
lucky dogs! i'm getting one soon! Did either of you have any trouble using other pentax lenses? that's the main reason i'm going with the pentax. i have the sf10 & been pleased with it
The interviewer doesn't have a clue about what the pentax rep's talking about, does he?

I am about to buy a camera - I like pentax but this baby is out of date right now right ?
It has 10megpixels which is sort of lagging behind other similar models which boast 14 megapixels. Any advice appreciated .

It's a great camera. I got mine a year ago and I couldn't be more pleased. Great images and a joy to use.

I know this is an "old" video, but PLEASE PLEASE please learn your reporters to handle a microphone correctly.
I needed to turn my volume up rather much to hear John Carlson, and then I almost threw my headset of because of the now loud sound.
And then he's also using the mic. as some sort of "pointing-device" (== sound level changing == irritating).
Have a nice day :?)
