So what is this guy doing now, cause frankly he has to be the best david bowie sound a like I have heard, Ive seen quite a few via utube and frankly they either look like bowie and do no sound like him, or just cannot cut it in the vocals.

Got a fair bit on with the function band and thinking about doing an originals band this year if I can get enough material together"

Yeah this is so much Bowie. Would have had me fooled. But no one does Bowie quite like he does. Cliff Richards came third when he went on stage (in disguise) to sing like cliff.

I think I was about 7 when this was shown, I watched it every week, and then the special 'Live Grand Final.' I had no awareness of music or Bowie at the time, and so in this episode and the final, I had no idea why my Dad was going mad about this performance and voting for it like mad. I now know of course why this was - this is fantastic. I seem to recall that Dusty Springfield won this series, but this so deserved it. Fantastic.
