Being a son of an Ambassdor I can relate to this because when I am in a foreign country I quickly learn to make the local dishes or I have one of the Embassy chefs teach me and I learn quickly. I have a great passion to travel and eventually become an Ambassdor myself

Good for you. I was really stupid not to spend a lot more time cooking with Hou ayi. she worked for us for three years.

I thoroughly enjoyed this! Being an expat in Pakistan I can relate to this. I tried to learn Pakistani cooking with my landlady, and she was shocked that I'd never used a mortar and pestle before and I was very slow at chopping the veggies!
