@DairyProduct Thanks. I know the feeling. We moved out to the country a few years back, back to where I grew up as a kid. Now my children and I can go crazy right out our back door! Thanks for watching.
Ask NASA if you can send a high quality HD camera to view the upper atmosphere, ALSO ask them if you can receive the signals directly from your experiment with your own antennas and equipment. Also, ask them what are these things: (they are way faster than the shuttle)
/watch?v=T52TIUA5adw
/watch?v=N1YMPT1mdaU
Why do they follow the shuttle, why are they self luminous, how can they make 90 degree turns, how can they accelerate to 100,000 mph almost instantaneously?
Hey dude nice vid!! I am a novice, if you will. I just bought the Big Bertha today. Im almost finished. Just need to paint. I have C6-5's ready for launch, What engine did you use? Great vid!!
@Kirbisi C6-5s are gonna go way higher than this one. I'm guessing this guy used an A or B class engine. C classes are the most powerful. Also depends on the size of the rocket I'm guessing. Smaller rockets will naturally go higher as they have smaller mass.
@stevenan93 Actually, this was launched with a C6-5 engine. The big bertha is a large and heavy rocket. Add the additional weight of the camera and the result is a lower altitude. Thanks for watching!
@Riverdale10 Thanks very much for watching and posting. Glad to hear you are getting the kids into the hobby. Great quality time will be had by all. Cheers ~ James
I made a small Balsa mount for it. But for the most part, yes. It was double side taped and rubber banded to the side of the rocket. Thanks for watching.
That's great video quality, especially after going through the youtube video compression process. I use a TX/RX setup, and capture it with a digital camcorder, the video isn't nearly as good.
Cool video, cannot find many places wher I live to launch anything. Loved building model rockets for the longest time.

I love flights like this. Everything went well and you got your rocket back with no problems. I wish they were all like that. :-)

Looking at the home's shadows, I believe this video is a hoax!
Seriously, how does a 2007 model rocket have 1970's NASA technology? That is bad aszz.
