@thegamermiguel Funny thing, I was about to add a comment here asking how does KenithH gets to play with his stg44 at PoW... 450FPS is a LOT, my stg came shooting at 408/402 FPS so I use it as a sniper and only in semi. I bought an mp40 a few days ago to be able to use a german replica for closer combat.

Scoutthedoggie is there a good starter weapon? Was going for a sniper and a Desert Eagle co2 i was wondering if it is a good choice?

@CrimsonsDeath12 not trying to discourage you but don't go with a sniper for your first primary weapon/system. You will not be a "epic" sniper and wont get a lot of "Kills". Start with maybe a rifle aeg like an m14 to get started. i like assault weapons personally like the g36, m4, and mp5 style weapons. But this is just my opinion on your question.

I liked the MP5 Ras, I had one myself, two bits of advice though, replace the motor with a Tokyo Marui EG1000, its easy and takes just five minutesto do, oh and get a PEQ battery box which can hold a little 9.6 battery, you now have an awesome little MP5.

@MistRHobo I have been airsofting for many years and i would have to say that airsoft sniping is not easy nor is it a glorifying position in my opinion. Try a KWA M4, or a JG 2010 M4 CQC version. It shoots 400-415 fps and has a great RIS rail system.

Depends on what optic you want. If you want the huge integrated thing that some FN F2000s have, they don't exist on the airsoft market. You'd have to custom build one out of something and use a cheap red dot for the internals.

If you want a bog standard red-dot, holo-sight, ACOG etc, then there are plenty of replicas which would fit the 20mm Picatinny Rail on the spine of the weapon.

in would war II it started off as STG-44 but then hitler looked and it and said that they didnt need full auto weapons with rile sized cartidges so they renamed it to the MP 44 so they continue developing it
