  • a tea party hurts no one , you buy something then throw it away. if anything they wish you'd buy more. our goverment has done everything it can to destroy america , taking away our freedoms , taxing everything and fines for everything we do. the only thing that will help is we take back our country by not buying any chineese junk. it will be hard and couldn't be helped in some cases .but stores like money and will find american companies if they see we're not buying foreign

  • This is going to get bad.. if this fucking bill passes... knowing what we know about American's who DON'T WANT IT.... the Teaparties, etc... THERE IS GOING TO BE HELL TO PAY!!

  • wow never in my life have i ever seen rich people(repubiclans) make poor people believe their bs.how can you stay on the side of multi-billion industry is to take your money and deny you coverage and by the way public school, fire department, policeman,va,medicare, medicade, social security and military coverages are all socilized policies!

  • Unfortunately for the Republicans they have 5 Senators retiring in states where the Dems have an excellent chance of taking the seats in 2010 (Kentucky, New Hampshire, Missouri, Florida, & Ohio) & most citizens in those states favor the Health Care bill , so if they vote against it - they pretty much turn the 5 Senate seats over to the Democrats.

  • fully paid for? i hope oprah is paid for it

  • GOPers voted themselves out of jobs

    Now to Senate in 2010:

Bunning, Kent, retiring cause he's been horrible. If he votes agst, GOP certain to lose spot

Bond, MO,retiring, if he votes agst, he hands seat to Dems

Gregg, NH, retiring, if he votes agst, Dem will replace

Voinovich,OH, retiring, vote agst bill & seat's gone

Martinez - Fla,retiring, vote agst & Dems gain seat

Vitter, LA, sex scandal, going, going gone

Burr, NC, vote agst & no chance

Ariz & Tex seats also in danger

  • hahahaha...were doing much better with Obama's administration! Over trillions of dollars in the next decade....oh yeah..let it pass. I work for the government...i'll have a job for the rest of my life. What are you doing in the next 3 years? We'll see.

  • I hope your joking

  • joking about what?

  • I guess stealing is now allowed in the USA as long as your need is larger than the next guy.

  • Health care bills are extremely complicated, requiring a lot of paper. It's maybe the most complex issue out there. The Republican's bill is nice and thin, because it designed to maintain the status quo, and has no chance of passing.

  • Just a note to you crazy liberals who dont get it. If this bill passes, it doesnt even take into effect until 2013. So all you cry babies who want health care RIGHT NOW, you wont get it. Also, the only people who dont have to join the public option... congress members... Common ppl, its over 2000 pages long. No one has read it, there could be thousands of problems with it. This is outrageous and the majority of americans are against this. People need to stop sucking off the government.

  • It takes effect next year. The bulk of the bill takes place in 2013, because it takes time to put the plan into place, but there are certainly reform measures that take place almost immediately.

  • The Republicans are already in danger of losing 5 to 7 Senate Seats & this vote will now make more than 20 Republican seats vulnerable.

Some who voted against the bill & can easily be defeated:

    Christopher Lee R-NY

    John Fleming R-LA

    Dave Reichert R-VA

    Thad McCorter R-MI

    Brett Guthrie R-KY

    Ken Calvert R-LA

Make certain these corporate whores ARE BOOTED OUT!

  • In response to leshager2009:

P.S. next time you try insulting "us" republicans and our "4th grade education", you should learn when it is the correct time to use capitalization or lowercase words in a statement. By the looks of it, as far as your education goes is grammar school.

+1 for "us 4th grade educated republicans".

  • In response to leshager2009:

Matter of fact, the change that America is getting will be the only thing that is left in our pockets by the time he is out of office.

Which by GOD's grace will be in 2012. If you did not notice, while you were busy insulting Republicans, when Bush was in office, the U.S. had the largest percentage gain in economic size at any time in our 243 year existence.

  • Take that Republiklan! Now the Healthcare bill has passed. This president has taken care of a bill that was proposed and struck down many time100 plus years ago.

Now I'd like you Republiklan member to put your money where your mouths are and never ever take advantage of this form of Health care. I know that won't happen because your some Lying SOB's but its worth saying nonetheless.....

  • I hope you haven't forgotten their is a House of Senate that the bill must still go through. Once again the republicans show to dumb to know that type of information.

  • In response to leshager2009:

I doubt that it was TARP that prolonged this recession. Maybe it was the other 1.3 trillion that Obama spent to get America on "the road to recovery faster". Besides look at the unemployment rate- it just passed 10 percent. Do you think this is from the lingering recession or the fact that taxes have been raised to support the spending that Obama has done with all of his lies.

  • I hate the straw man arguments that the Republicans keep coming up with to fight the health care bill. The bill is nothing like taking a wrecking ball to fix the sink, it is more like hiring a federal plumber instead of a corporate one. It's silly that the bill is 2 thousand pages long, and it is a symbol of impersonal, unnecessary bureaucracy, but it only came out that way because of intervention from insurance companies and blue dog democrats trying to compromise with liberal democrats.

  • The simple solution democrat solution - "Throw out the Constitution and replace it with Communism." There ya go, nice and simple.

  • So basically, I don't want health insurance because I would rather put that money towards finishing college.

I HAVE to pay a fee/fine/tax to stay out of prison.

    Good luck comrades!

  • You have to understand that, in general, the Democrats constitutes the left boot and the Republicans the right. The body politic, having been decoupled from the people and unbound by the constitution due to popular apathy and lack of understanding of our founding principles, is marching irrevocably toward tyranny. Left, right, left, right, left, right - straight into the fire.

  • Oh I understand, but it's too late to convince people of the truth. It would take over a decade to so.

This country won't even be here in a decade.

  • You got that right, what ever happened to freedom? Most people think they are free, but in actuality they're just slaves used for the government's profit.

  • This will not be repealed. Even if the Republicans win the Senate, Congress and the Presidency combined. We are done. Those taxes kicks in plus the Bush tax cuts expires. More taxes, longer reccesion.

  • Government never shrinks, it always grows - no matter who is in control. Am I the only one who remembers the Democrats criticizing the Republicans for the unchecked government growth and fiscal irresponsibility? See, it's a game to them. They talk about freedom and reducing spending while they campaign but once they get in they shift the agenda to other issues. Just watch, when the Republicans get into office we'll start to hear about the WoT and how we need a police state.

  • Governments are specifically designed to limit freedoms.

I didn't want war, we went to war. I don't want to pay property tax, i have to pay property tax. I don't want health insurance companies to exist, insurance companies exist. i don't want liars to be allowed to remain in office, liars remain in office.

What i want means nothing when it comes to what actually happens.

We aren't represented by our government, only our corporations are represented by our government.

  • And what happens if you don't want the insurance when you get out of jail? They're just going to keep throwing you in jail? So what you end up with is a life sentence for not buying into their fraud? What a disgrace...

  • Score one for tyranny! WHOOOOOOO! I LOVE IT WHEN THE GOVERNMENT TELLS ME WHAT TO DO! I'm like a child, ya know. I need the government to tell me what to do and how to think and how to spend my money. Whatever would we do without our enlightened masters in government looking over us? Please Ms. Pelosi, take away some more of my freedom. Who needs it anyway with you around to protect us? ^_^ Yaaaaaay!

  • Ooops! I think I made a poopie! Tehe. Can you clean it up please Ms. Pelosi? ^_^

  • Government involvement works in certain sectors. There is a reason why we have a nationalized military paid in full by taxes. A militia, or a privately run corporate military would be disastrous. Militias couldn't organize a formidable force, and a corporate-run military would collapse in debt. The thing is, governments can just borrow or print money to fund wars, and they can keep doing this because there are no shareholders to piss off, and they can just raise taxes to level off the deficit.

  • This is great..horay for the democrat. Now you can have those lazy asses get to see a doctor to fill out forms so that they can submit it for disability and social security benefit for fake bipolar disorder or fibromyalgia. Just wait...you democrat think this will solve problem....just wait.

  • That's a RepubliTARD talkIN.

  • republicans do great job let 50 000 000 american without medical insurance . thanks, we will remember this in the polls nex year .
