This woman is an inspiration to all, that youth, money, and beauty are NOT all you need to become a winner. She stands on talent alone with simply awesome performances. Today was the first time I've heard her sing and I am simply stunned at the heart and soul in her songs.

Proper musicians and talented singers must cringe when they see her screeching her way to being a millionaire. She isn't that good at all, she just surprised the judges on the talent show, who aren't really qualified to say what is good. I include Simon Cowell, he is just a manager, using the show to generate money.

Screeching? I don't take singing, but I've done piano and music theory for many years - she's got a beautiful voice.

No she hasn't. What has your musical instrument training got to do with it. People have been blinded by the hype. She is average, and you think because her looks don't match her voice, that she is some undiscovered talent.

I am not trained in music, but that doesn't mean i am tone deaf.

It's the same with paul potts, he looked like a binman, and so people were shocked that he could sing.That doesn't mean he is Pavarotti. How easily people are swayed by these ridiculous talent shows.

Actually, you're right about the hype. But, she has a very good voice! I actually wasn't watching BGT when she came on stage, the TV was on in the kitchen while I was making something. But I heard her voice and a shiver went down my spine, I turned around, saw she wasn't a looker - but didn't care. I don't judge by appearance. That's the beauty of BGT over the X Factor. Older acts do not stand a chance, no matter how good they are...

your wrong - Simon is a music exec he works in senior management, making executive decisions over the label's artists. Their role varies greatly but in essence, they can oversee one, or many, aspects of a record label, including A&R, contracts, management, publishing, production, manufacture, marketing/promotion, distribution, copyright, touring, as well as other things.

The man is a product of the Simon Fuller school of money manufacture. Don't confuse wealth with musical talent spotting genius. The woman has taken all the sympathy and shock votes, which is what these shows are all about. Jedward , for instance. It's pathetic to say people on these shows are talented.

I would say the old cleaner. who works in my local pub, would be a good bench mark for Susan Boyle.
