Hope you are still enjoying the BackOFF XP! I know its already installed, but if you have any questions, or know anyone else that does- installation wise, or just wiring questions, definitely give us a call. We are in the process of overhauling the website to make it more user and installation friendly, with videos, easier to read wiring diagrams, etc... not to mention some new products and a new look. Let us know if you need us! Ride safe!
I picked this up for about $35-$40. That's the only cost involved. As far as the installation, I had a buddy I work with help me out since I'm not very mechanically/electrically inclined. But it wasn't a difficult thing to do. There were only two wires to splice and then run the ground wire to a bolt on the frame. It took about 20 minutes. If you get the Back Off brand, make sure to get the XP...it works with both LED tail lights and regular halogen bulbs.
Great feature and we do need this to wake up those tailgaters !!!
