  • 1:55 Damn Soloman! You scary!

  • 1:53 this is what happens when u take my chicken >:(

  • 2012 America has a "dark" president and ignorant people are still being racist because they feel protected behind the Internet. I hope all ignorant people (like the ones commenting on this video) go to hell.

  • 2:00 - one pissed off n*gger!

  • im just wondering why did they use a russian helicopter

  • I would rather kill myself before going in there................

  • because its kill or be killed

  • Nigger is fucking serious.

  • @gmgrim you mom is serious about that cracker pussy bitch fagget

  • Dude that much small arms fire would have torn the helicopter to shreds since you had roughly 50+ people shootig at it

  • @chopsticks7life The helicopter is armored against 23mm cannon fire. AK rounds would bounce off the armor with hardly a mark.

  • Great acting.

  • Why is this film so violent?

  • @1987MrPerfect cause this is based on the sierra leone civil war and that war was violent so the movie is too? why ask such a silly question?

  • @1987MrPerfect It's what actually happened. To take out the violence would be to lie.

  • @1987MrPerfect

Sometimes there are things that are both important to say, and unpleasant to see/hear.

  • @1987MrPerfect Leonardo Dicaprio himself said they only scrapped not even 50& of what actually happened in Africa. Of what actually happened in Sierra Leone Africa is 10 times more horrific and violent than the movie!

  • Hounsou got RAGE!!!

  • SICK AMBUSH AT 3:20. Get some! Get some!!!!

  • have you noticed sierra leonans pronounce "diamond" as "diam". listen to first narration in kanye west's diamonds forever video

  • the director should've gotten an oscar, he made a pretty good movie out of terrible screen writing, the whole story was cheesy and unrealistic within the world it created

  • @NoxDeadly Whaaa? What was cheesy about it?

  • @andStack I don't know I was just talkin shit, lol

  • wait how does archer know how solomons son looks like?

  • @Almahser Archer saw Solomon trying to get Dia to talk to him before getting captured

  • @Almahser the father, can't remember what he's called, showed Archer a picture of his family including his son :)

  • he saw him when solomon gets captured

  • one of the most epic scenes in this movie

  • It's so disturbing to see Soloman beat the commando to death with a shovel.

He's such a gentle and compassionate character and yet you totally believe that he would do it.

  • @andStack If anyone you truly loved or cared about was taken away from you. You would become a different person because of what society has done to you. I feel bad for Solomon too.

  • @JordanWarnerFilms I think that's sort of the point of the movie. It's not that the people in Africa are born bad or have evil intent. It's that the way things are there, people become brutal just as a means of survival.

The scene where Dia points the gun at his father speaks to this. You can see how the Commando was probably like Dia at one point. Powerful stuff.

  • @andStack Just shows what some parents will do to protect their child.

  • Holy fuck he plays that raging-insane part so convincing.

  • "FIND IT OR YOUR FAMILY WILL DIE!" Love that line :P

  • So, uh, how exactly does the white guy run through the middle of the battlefield and not get hit? The fatal flaw with these kinds of movies.

  • @BathorysGraveland

No actually, they show him waiting patiently until it is clear. Partly it's becaues he called in the Hind so he was more prepared. Other people aren't going to shoot him because they're way more worried about the Hind too.

  • What an amazing acting by Solomon Vandy

  • T.I.A people

  • It's a south African modified variant of the Mi-24

  • 1:59 " i said KFC, NOT CHURCHES!!!!!!!!!"

  • if i was a child soldier i would be scared as fuck in this scene

  • 1:55

    someone stole that Niggas pancakes

  • @alekzander2010 more like his chicken

  • At 2:00 i would be freaked out even if i was on his side haha

  • @K3yB04dG000n It's what a father will do for his child. I'd be exactly the same if someone hurt my daughter.

  • 1:55 MANJINI!

  • 1:58 nigga moment

  • the faces that soloman pulls when he is angry. lol

  • The only unrealistic thing about this scene is the MI24V hind wouldn't do passing "Gun Runs". Doctrine suggests that it would hover or side hover using all of it's available weaponry. Considering the fact the entire helicopter is armor plated, used AK's wouldn't even hurt it.

  • @HikingForSpirit They're South African mercenaries. They probably couldn't give less of a fuck what the Russians would do or not. Plus, bullets can still fly into the open cabin and ruin their day.

  • 1:55-2:15 more reasons why Djimon Hounsou need to play Kratos in a God Of War movie.

  • @cjcool91 - Good point. That's the kind of rage I can imagine coming out of Kratos and that I can't really imagine coming out of the vast majority of actors except Hounsou.

  • 1:58 solomon turned into a zombie lol

  • @SMOKINPRESIDENTIAL

Yeah, I shat my pants on that part.

  • keep pressing 6 for bashing

  • WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!!! HE HAS AIMBOT 2:20

  • Give that man an Oscar!

And make a game out of this!

  • @1stNightingale this film was the prequel for far cry 2 when you have a look at the game you will find a lot of coinscidences.

  • @Sidorowitscht Yeh but unfortunately it didn't have the same feeling of open space jungle and had more of a bad character rather than a choice to play who you want as well as a moral point to the story.

  • @1stNightingale thats a little disrespectful

  • @MadameTourvel2012 How so? I wanna save Africans from slaughter and i wanna save the children from being soldiers. Its all about motives. Every game i play i never kill the good guys or kill people i dont have to but its also a story. I am also an actor so therefore an interactive movie to me is the best thing next to acting. So how did you think it was disrespectful?

  • @1stNightingale Because you are literally making a game out of an inhumane situation. How would you feel about "Holocaust, the video game" Idk, I just find it disrespectful. Never was that into war games either, I think it glorifies the whole thing, but thats just me.

  • 1:58 never piss off a majini, ever!!!!!!

  • 1.58 scene, yeh man, ketch face, luv it

  • Go to 1:59 to shit your pants.

  • ACTUALLY THIS A MI 35 Superhind, also known as Caribea.

  • Leo is the only one in the movie to shot an AK-47 properly unlike others who shoot from the hip hoping to hit something. He makes Rambo look like a pussy (who always shoots from the hip)

  • You know, Hinds aren't the best attack helicopters ever built, but there isn't another chopper out there that is more scary looking. They just look like total predators....death from above.

  • The bull-shit thing is that in the Sierra Leone Civil War, the government was just as bad as the RUF...

  • first of all they are not actually american side but merc and second is that Hind is

a very powerful but cheap weapon and can be realize that always used by mercenary for support their force to attack RUF, in this movie for example.

  • Mil Mi - 24 "Hind".

The stuff RUF nightmares are made out of .

  • That's why you don't fuck with a man's family. No matter how baddass you are, all of that man's rage and anger will overcome your sorry ass.

  • Comment removed

  • @Steven1992ization Doubt you would even have the balls to kill someone

  • @DrDrake93 I agree WHOLE HEARTEDLY!!! WELL SAID!!!

  • stupid black >:(

  • Fuck...that one eyed dude got the business end of a shovel. And how pimp is is to see DiCaprio use an AK-47 like that. I got to watch this again.

  • press 6

  • Improving the world one trigger pull at a time. SEMI AUTO reigns supreme!

  • 2:00

    Anger management.

  • When I saw the name of this vid and the preview pic, I thought... "GET TO THA CHOPPA!!!"

  • Is that just me or Russians and Amerikans on Same side?

  • @BondarenkoNikita No Archer is from Zimbabwe

  • @WMO88 RHODESIA!

  • @BondarenkoNikita Hind helicopters are widely available, not just to Russians. They're strongly implied to be Executive Outcomes, a South African mercenary group.

  • @BondarenkoNikita russians and americans are ailes and no how to spell

  • @BondarenkoNikita dumb nigger

  • @BondarenkoNikita Archer is Rhodesian merc...All the guys who assault the camp are mercs....thats why the various gear

  • I remember the first time I saw this film...I screamed with Soloman when he was hitting the one eyed dude with a shovel, that scene was so intense....that sounded wrong...but w/e

  • I liked this film (and still do) for one reason: Archer.

That guy is a mercenary, a man who kills for money, and yet he is willing to risk his life to help Soloman find and rescue his son. And he does so with his life.

Really shows how even men who can be called 'stone cold killers' really do have a heart.

  • @Nightrbinger24 He was saving Dia so he could get his diamond from Vandy

  • @WMO88

I know. But think about it. If you were in his position, which would you do: leave the kid for diamond or resuce the kid AND the diamond?

And I've just answered my own question.

  • @Nightrbinger24 i would go for both the kid and the diamond

  • KFC Closing down early brought me here

  • why are they using a russian helicopter?

  • @MrJuliusrapper lots of countries are using the Hind series by Russia

  • @WMO88 Russian Warfare is cheaply priced, but very powerful. Gets the job done.

  • @WMO88 "a HIND D?! colonel, what's a Russian gunship doing here?"

  • @WMO88 That's a Mi-35 Super Hind.. probably got it from Algeria.

  • @Wyrmshadow Coetzee works for Executive Outcomes, so it could have come from anywhere.

  • @MrRahmEmanuel I never watched the movie, so I know nothing of the plot. I just know that Algeria has this particular upgrade for the Hind.. so that's where the movie crew might have rented it from. Really anachronistic to feature such a modernized bird for a mercenary unit.

  • @MrJuliusrapper

Because the Hind is a great Helicopter. Whilst it's arguably not as good and certainly not as advanced as the American Apache, it's considerably cheaper: an airworthy Mi-24 (minus weaponry) will cost around $1m or even less sometimes, which is cheaper than many modern civilian helicopters.

  • @Jibriltz yep russian stuff is always cheaper and better

  • @Jibriltz That said, they're not ideal attack choppers like the AH-64 or Mi-28 or ideal utility choppers like the Mi-8, Mi-17, UH-1 or UH-60. They have trouble taking off loaded and are rarely used as transports.

  • @MrJuliusrapper Why not? They are perfectly good helicopters.

  • @MrJuliusrapper tis cheap to sell. Any 2 bit military group can buy one now.

  • @MrJuliusrapper They're relatively cheap, they act as a transport as well as a gunship, and they're cheap to maintain as well.

  • @MrJuliusrapper they are mercenaries, most mercenaries got alot of their weapons from the soviet union after their collapse which took place around this time, including helicopters, they were cheap and in large supply

  • @MrJuliusrapper they're mercenaries, private military contractors run by a corporation.its a well know fact that the russians sell military equipment.so im guessing thats why

  • @MrJuliusrapper I think this is also a direct reference to mercenary companies like Executive Outcomes, who used Hind helicopters for air support in their missions.

  • @MrJuliusrapper the hind thease days is cheap and many countries use it because of that the russians nowadays use the MI-35 or Mi-28

  • this scene is both horrible and awesome

  • roflcopter go!

  • @gamer46ful This is a war and war does not care whether it's an adult or a kid. Everyone suffers when the country faces a war.

  • @WMO88 ok very true but does it mean that everyone wants to see it anyways out of entertainment?

  • @gamer46ful No one is entertained by seeing kids die, but this film is for more than entertainment.

  • @gamer46ful I don't think you go to see these kinds of movies for entertainment, same goes with Saving Private Ryan, I don't think that was what you'd call a "blockbuster" summer hit.

  • @WMO88

a bullet fired from a kid is just as effective as a bullet fired from an adult. in many cases even more effective :D:D:D

    - Lord of War

  • @WMO88 When I saw this movie in the theater I was cringing, because I lived it, and tears you deep down every fiber of your heart. The guy I was with kept saying "white boy aim, white boy aim" and was excited, but I just closed my eyes, because he had no idea.

  • @gamer46ful The South African outfit in this movie is based on Executive Outcomes, a for-hire South African military group that the government of Sierra Leone hired to combat the RUF. The actions of the group in the movie aren't unrealistic in the context of what actually happened in the conflict.

And while the RUF's child soldiers were kids, they were hardened, drugged-up soldiers who committed some horrible atrocities. It was kill or be killed for those who fought them.

  • @Crymson1 hold on hold on do you mean u get paid for killing niggers? where do i sign up?

  • @intrax3000 Even if your statement weren't crude and intended to be offensive, it'd be stupid; many of the enlisted men of Executive Outcomes were black. The officers were white.

  • @intrax3000 ive never heard something more racist then what u just said u confederate bastard

  • @intrax3000 your fucked up dude

  • @Crymson1 What you say is true, but it is also important to remember that many of these children could be, and many were, rehabilitated.

  • @BlueberryDoughnuts Some were, yes.

  • @gamer46ful The movie shows the truth.

  • @gamer46ful It's the wanton death and killing that makes Soloman, Archer and the main characters so strong and their plot so compelling.

  • Russian helicopter's rule.

  • themule11 : yes and that is a Mi - 24, which is a russian design

  • Actually that's an A.T.E. Superhind Mk. III - South African refit.
