Some people are still too attached to the Kaba Modern 2 yrs. ago (the team that had Kaba 6). It sure as hell was one of the greatest years of Kaba, but the thing is this is KM 2009. You can't expect them to dance the same way 2 yrs. ago. The choreographers, members, and the styles change. It's progression. KM 08 was badly criticized, but there's an obvious improvement seen in this new team. I'm sure they will get even better. Shawn Duong, Jonah Aki, and Hikari Murakami are on fire.

Not saying that last year's team was bad, they were good, but their 2008 performances clearly showed the decline in terms of talent and creativity. Because of that ,some fans already lost their expectations from Kaba. They are those who complained that they want the old Kaba back.

After this competition, many people (including me) said they're finally back. You're right this performance showed their potential to be on top again.

You really need to shut the fuck up because Kaba is just as hot as they always were. With the increasing amount of hip hop competitions being created in Southern California right now and Hip Hop Internationals coming soon, of course they would be a little bit under their normal standards. Plus the number of members that have joined Kaba have increased since the airing of the MTV show, so it's harder to choreograph a larger number of people. You're just blind.

Yay, Kaba's back!! I was wondering why didn't compete at Fusion 09. Anyways, I love this whole set!! I was feeling all the routine, well, the breaking part not that much, but it was still good. Overall, they definitely deserved that 3rd place! Great job Kaba most especially the choreographers. I'm glad they're back on track. Shawn Duong is sickk!!
