Hatsune Miku is a voice bank...you know, technically just a collection of sound files recorded from a person (in this case, the one who voiced Miku is Fujita Saki). Vocaloid is the stand-alone software that has a graphic user interface that allows the users to manipulate the sound files in the voice bank in order to simulate singing.

@ja6ck6in6o There are a lot of songs "sang" originally by the vocaloid voice banks. Maybe it's because the composer couldn't find a human singer fit for the song...there's just too many possible reasons. This song is an one of the songs sang originally by Miku.
