Okay guys, HERE's the thing... I was having this problem and pulling my hair out... I tried this guy's solution and I thought, "It doesn't work!"

Well guess what... I had the track opacity set to 100% bottom colour... That's right, the video was faded, and I thought the clips were glitching. So learn from my idiotic mistake, and CHECK YOUR OPACITY, because you may not even have this problem!

What that dock thing you have at the bottom of your screen, it looks like the mac thing with all the applications

@ELPOLLOLOCOSKATEKREW This is just a simple windows 7 or vista taskbar... whenever you are using some program or opened the folder , you see it in the bottom at the task bar , you can right click on it and press "Pin this program to taskbar" and it will stay there showing you that small icon:)

And if you really want that Mac OS dock on your windows just search in google for "Windows 7 Mac Dock" And you'll find it easy..

iam using Sony Vegas 10 with quick time 7.6.2 and my problem is a little different i can see the video on the preview and all but when i render it its all black and no sound i have done different renders and it worked but i want to render it in MP4 and it wont work for this vid the same render settings work on other vids i have imported this vid from my camcorder but i did not use SV to import it

2) Install Quicktime 7.55 (description)

3) Reboot Vegas

@RezziLegendaryMmorpg well actually I fixed it I forgot how I did it. Probably uninstalling vegas and re installing it fixed the problem. I have a new problem with M2TS videos. When i try to open them with Vegas it will crash b/c vegas is telling me that the frame rate 119.880. I'll do a tutorial if i fx this. But MP4's and other M2TS files with a normal frame rate works.

Okay...this didn't work, but what did was MUTING THE TEXT TRACK. I created a Save As version of my vid and then played around, and I muted each track to try to isolate the prob. For some reason, muting the text track worked for me. Hopefully this helps someone else.
