As far as the theme goes, you're correct, this song WAS written with the idea "we are all ultimately alone" explicitly in mind. And I agree with you - since we are (or very well could be) all alone, it's even more important that people are there for each other. The 80's vibe is definitely there.......It's also like he might have been puffing on the magic dragon there for a bit...((we are all cosmic orphans swimming behind the dolphins)) It's trippy but I LIKE IT!! :) Totally original.
@MirageEspejismo Yeah, I actually like this one too. I wrote this back when I was in college- and that was a weird time, to say the least!!! (No drugs went into this song though, haha!) I meant every word of it, but I guess it does sound a bit "trippy" listening back to it now that I'm older (definitely) and wiser (not so much).
