  • Three or four hits with a BFH does the same job,much easier

  • The big difference Sanatahul is that the pickle fork will cut the rubber boot on the the tie-rod end and ruin it - which is fine if it's worn and you're replacing it. However, if you are releasing the tie-rod end to do some other job (maybe to replace a wheel bearing) you don't want to damage the boot. This tool is great in that scenario.

  • Is there any particular difference between this type of removal tool and the other (pickle fork) type which you just hammer into the gap
