Under the godaddy applications, my install status has been stuck on "installing application" for two hours now.

Anyone have any idea what's wrong?

@Screamus Most likely GoDaddy's doing something with their servers right now and certain tasks are taking longer than usual. Once and a while this happens with GoDaddy. Also, their support is 24/7 so you might want to give them a call and say "Hey, uhh... what's goin on?!?!" :-)

@FSXman456 Yes, I had to do a manual install though, which means downloading all the joomla files, then uploading them via FTP. It only took about an hour (if I recall correctly),

@Danbo19721 - You'll need to backup the site with either JoomlaPack or it's new version called Akeeba Backup then reinstall the backup under the new path. There are a series of steps involved in completing this task. I will try to add a tutorial on this very soon. Most likely this weekend.

Have any idea why my domain that I added to my hosting account is not showing up as an option to install Joomla? The domain is controlled by another registrar other than GoDaddy. The primary domain is fine and hosts Joomla perfect and is also controlled by an outside registrar. Adding any type of secondary domain and it doesn't show as an option in the GoDaddy Hosting Connection center.

I paid a web designer half for my website and all I got was a domain name with Godaddy and customer id and password.

This guy has a website promising hosting, among other things, but I deleted all his website email address from my account, he's a professional thief. Do I have to look for another host? As you see new to all this, that's why I hired the bstrd in the first place and now will do it myself. DON'T USE ANYONE IN THAILAND, EVER.
