I was talking about her voice that sends shivers to my spine and has something very special. Her voice would make this song even better but that´s nothing against Carly because her voice is adorable as well. It just misses the "special something". I don´t really care about the relationships between band members, I care about the music.

Last time I checked you hated it when people compared Evanescence to Nightwish or Within Temptation because they are different bands. @evilzara2112 Ev keep changing their music. From origin (1996) to fallen (2003) -> completely different. I hate to compare any band with another. But if i have to speak for real i like 'em better than within temptation ('cause of the more powerful vocals) and better than Nightwish ('cause of their loyalty). We are the fallen are good but - with no comparisons - are a copy of Ev... i don't think it sounds so wrong..

I used to love EVanescence, I loved their first CD, and Like their second album
and their sound changed and its less the sound I love.
now that I discovered WATF I reconnect With what I used to love of Evanescence.
Now I love WATF and Like Evanescence...
Amy Lee is a better singer but Evanescence is not Evanescence anymore with all their new members. It's Amy-Lee with a new Band and WATF is Evanescence with a new singer...

I just sang this to my Girlfriend. x) It wasn't the lyrics that was the meaning, but the fact was she asked me to and it meant a lot to her. It's one of her favorite songs. All these comparisons are frustrating.. Just because you are all too attatched to the old (Evanescence) to move onto newer and better things.. Besides. all of these bands (Within Temptation,Nightwish, we are the fallen, Evanescence) all have unique and different qualities and If you are a fan of good music then you should like all of them.. and support good music!

Last time I checked you hated it when people compared Evanescence to Nightwish or Within Temptation because they are different bands. So why then are you so quick to compare We are the Fallen to Evanescence? If you hate it when someone compares Ev to another band then don't be hypocrites and compare this band to Ev. Plus I don't think they sound like Ev not now anyways. Ev have changed their sound since Moody left.

@evilzara2112 Ev keep changing their music. From origin (1996) to fallen (2003) -> completely different. I hate to compare any band with another. But if i have to speak for real i like 'em better than within temptation ('cause of the more powerful vocals) and better than Nightwish ('cause of their loyalty). We are the fallen are good but - with no comparisons - are a copy of Ev... i don't think it sounds so wrong..

@evilzara2112 agreed. The sound kinda reminds me of when Moody was in the band, which is fine, because I love Moody, but on the other hand they have their own seperate idenity! I love WATF and EV both. You should be able to. Its it's own sound

I absolutely hate these comments about Amy Lee being "replaced" by this Carly chick. They are both fantastic singers, ok?? Both extraordinarily gifted women. There is no "original" Evanscence. There is ONE band Evanescence, and ONE band We Are The Fallen. They are two seperate, talented bands.

._. Wow.. Everytime I listen to this song all I see is my friends' faces.. I wish they would forgive me.. Even though I don't know what I do wrong. They're always ignoring me now, and basically hate me.. Apparently I called one a "follower" and this girl who sits next to me is eating up the attention she's getting from telling them what I said. I love WATF, and I love Evanescence, frankly due to the unique blend of a soul feel brought into the modern-day world of rock, both through instruments and lyrics. But, at the same time, WATF and Evanescence are more similar than any other 2 bands you can name. I guarantee that.

@Rebootation It doesn't matter. Some people just want to enjoy the music but some idiots ruin it by comparing the two. Same thing with WT and Evanescence: ppl STILL compare the two. Why can't people just give and let live instead of not only making themselves unhappy but others as well. Also, is it no surprise the two sound alike though. Most of the band is FROM Evanescence. I don't like being technical, I just enjoy the music.

@AddictedxToxLIFE I agree, but I mean honestly the normality in music and how it relates to people is they all just judge by what sounds good to the ear, not what is actually good in a song. They think their opinion matters when they have no music-related experience or understanding. There's so much more to music than what they play, it's how they develop the notes and how they think about it in it's development. And also, thank you for contradicting yourself lol. That's what I was hoping for.

And yes I realize that creating music is hard but even though its hard to put notes together some people have different tastes too. I like to listen music that sounds good to ME, not what others think. Like I said, the technicality doesn't matter to me. I listent to what I thin sounds good, not how complicated it is or something.

Look here, WATF and Evanescence are two completely different bands, though yes they do sound alike and they have the same band members. But they sing about different stuff. I have never heard Amy sing a song like Sleep well My Angel, and I have never heard WATF sing about a sister

PLUS its all but Amy lee. and what is the bands name? what was evanescence's first CD to make it big? fallen. it might sound like people are complaining about nothing but theres WAY 2 many similarities to b a coincidence. they even played going under in a concert. slightly changing a note doesn't make it new, but i will admit they sound good. but because its classic evanescence.

I STILL could care less about this and that. I like both bands, but I don't view them as the same. To me they are both different.
