Motown had the greatest artists going! Hit after hit! OMG did their music ever speak to our gentle hearts!? Yeah, "deed it did!" Does it still? Yes, you can bet your bottom dollar on that. I cannot imagine NOT having grown up to "Motown" music. The Four Tops right there at the top of the list and Motown had a FINE list - cannot be surpassed and hasn't been to this day. At least with the 60's-80's we had videos with the great music...I think when Nirvana & Sound Garden, STP, etc came along, in teh early 90's, with their interesting lyrics at best, & colorful videos, with depressed, drug-induced band members, that's when it went downhill! Granted, I did get into some of that music, but it did change everything for the worst!
