  • I WISH CLOO CHANNEL WOULD BRING BARNABY JONE BACK TO WATCH

  • Any chance you can download The Detectives opening, with the black prowling around the office? As I remember, during Barnaby Jones' first season, CBS tried to package it with Mannix (possibly as a rival to the NBC Mystery Movie). CBS tried the same strategy with Cannon and Manhunter.

  • beautifull picture

  • I'd love to see the episode "School of Terror". Sean Penn is suppose to be in it.

  • Although I didn't think much of the show, i always tuned in to listen to the title theme. It was so smooth! The flute is so soothing. Really cool!

  • Great bass line.

  • Best TV theme of the 70s.

  • Tonight's episode: Requiem for a Cunt

  • @ChillyChillBrooknam9 You've got a nasty ex-wife too? Sorry.

  • somebody please post 2nd-3rd-4th, etc.. seasons!!!!!!!...please

  • William Conrad looks really happy to be there.

buddy epsom salts was quite the twinkletoe

  • Tracy MorganFairchild

funiest man bootyed off televison jenediah jones

what part of "White With Foam" don't you understand?

    God Bless America

  • Barnaby always drove a Ford LTD, 2 door.

  • @OakPark11MileRd -I came back to get another look at Lee Meriwether and I see you hit me back with Gail Fisher. Yes, she was great and had a wonderful smile. Lee Meriwether was Miss America 1955.

  • Buddy Epson WAS born for this part !

  • Yet another catchy ditty from Jerry Goldsmith.

  • One of the greatest theme songs :)

  • Wasn't Lee Meriwether gorgeous?

  • @OakPark11MileRd True, but Mannix didn't have Lee Meriwether.

  • I remember this show for most of my early childhood. I was born in 1971, so it started when I was 2. Too bad they don't rerun this anywhere.

  • @Originalman320 I was born in 73 but still can remember laying in front of gramma n grampa's tv in the mid 70s and watchin it...lots of great memories!

  • I always liked the theme song of this show.

  • Don't forget Quinn Martin's sci-fi "The Invaders"! After "Trek" that was the coolest sci-fi those days!

  • I loved this program, which came on every Thursday right before "The Nightstalker."

  • they don't make great shows like this anymore.

  • @stangfever04 no they don't make 'em like this anymore, one reason I liked Barnaby Jones was there were hardly no negroes in it, Now days all the TV/Cable shows are Infested with negroes...Magic negroes too...

  • @EvanQuinn07 hello my dear friend, I agree with you, dem knee grows are eva wee whair, by the way, my name is Richard Hedd, but you my friend, can call me Dick, luv ya!

  • @bonjani1 yea, the negroes are everywhere, BUT they're slowly killing each other off, so maybe there;s hope ...lol

  • @EvanQuinn07 Were you born brain dead, or did your mother drop you on your head?

  • @Originalman320 sorry, I didn't mean to step on your toes, are you a negroe?

  • @EvanQuinn07 I'm a Black man if that's what you want to know.

  • @EvanQuinn07 what educated and articulate black people threaten you or something? people like you make me ashamed to be white, hell human even. that means i've got something in common with you.

  • @tranurse" what educated and articulate black people threaten you or something?" ...LMAO ...No, Not at all....well let me take that back, they could and they HAVE the propensity too...."Threaten" you or me or anyone else for that matter, a negroe has te ability to "Chimpout" at any moment...IF you're white, I'd guess you suffer grom "white guilt" then...you know, your ancestors are reponsible for slavery and the mistreatment of negroes and all that....

  • @EvanQuinn07 my ancestors were from new jersey and indiana. no slaves. i'm not guilty about anything. i just can't stand meanness and ignorance.

  • @tranurse well IF you can't stand meaness and ignorance, I have a BS by the way you Stupid Bitch, then WTF are you doing hanging with negroes? ...kinda oxymoronic...

  • @EvanQuinn07 i have a bsn myself. bachelor of science in nursing. i'm a lot of things, stupid isn't one of them. you're just an asshole.

  • @tranurse ...I don't know if my ancestors had slaves or not, what if they did? tell me; What could I do about that now? am I to be punished for the sins of my fathers & grandfathers? Listen, if I could get in a time machine and go back and change anything in history, it would probably be bringing the negroe to the west, sure it would've impeded manual progress a few decades, so what? the benefits outweigh the disadvantages by a trillion to one...the negroe by and large has been nothing but a ..

  • @tranurse cancer on civilized society, LOOK at the COST of the negroe today, the national prison population is probably approaching 65% negroe, the gov't entitlement programs, relatively speaking supports a VAST majority of negroes, CRIME...take a LOOK at the DOJ Crime statitics sometime, you're chance of being raped by a negroe is about 7 times that of other races, you Remember that one, next time your out with your friends, that negroe friend of yours would Probably Rape you, given the chance

  • @EvanQuinn07 ummmm, more whites are on welfare than blacks, but yes a greater percentage of blacks are in prison based on communities. and as a woman, i am more likely to be raped by a so called friend or acquaintance than some strange black man.

  • @tranurse sure there are more whites on welfare, you know why? 'Cause there are more white people, you Dumb Bitch...oh, the reason more negroes are in prison because of communities? ...LMAO ...How about because MORE negroes are doing Crime? yea...and IF that friend or acqaintence is a negroe; your risk just shot up a thousand percent

  • @EvanQuinn07 didn[t i say that a higher percentage of the black community is on welfare????

  • @tranurse or better yet, go down to the local negroe neighborhood and party with your negroe friends.....they aren't like us

  • @EvanQuinn07 it's negro, or if it is plural negroes. at least attempt to spell it correctly. black people are human, so i can't figure out how they are different from us. i figure idiots come in all colors, and there is plenty of reasons not to like someone, that have nothing to do with what color they are. i'd rather hang out with an educated chicken than hang out with you.

  • @tranurse OK, let me be more precise sense it seems you may suffer from ASD, negroes aren't like us in the sense of culture, now wait before you say , there are other cultures, there are, BUT the negroe culture is a violent one and angry...sure there are many reasons not to like someone, but the negroe it seems has an inbred hatred against white people, for reasons I' ve given.....and I never asked you to hang around me anyway....

  • @EvanQuinn07 ummm, again like i said, there are plenty of reasons to dislike someone, than the color of their skin. assholes are assholes, no matter what they look like. i don't have any use for anyone who is sorry, or lazy, and that my friend knows no color.

  • @tranurse I'm not your friend....Stupid bitch

  • @EvanQuinn07 fuck you

  • @EvanQuinn07 Damn, ya'll is some stupid bitches!

  • @tranurse ..typically I wouldn't hang or associate with white people that hang around negroes..............you be careful out there tranny nurse

  • @EvanQuinn07 ummm, my husband would be surprised to find out i was a transsexual. i'm just gonna pretend you didn't treaten me.

  • @tranurse threaten you? STFU Bitch....no one threatened your VD infected ass or vagina...I will thank you for that little insight, you're a stinking troll, bait people huh? well FUCK YOU

  • @EvanQuinn07 well, if someone tells me to 'watch out' i get a little nervous. tell you what, you ignore me and i'll ignore you i'm not trolling, i just inferred something that i guess you didn't imply. how about that?

  • I remember my grandfather used to watch this show, and I totally remember this music. I remember the 16 little red squares and how they weren't aligned, they were all a little off kilter. I remember he drove around in a Ford LTD in this show. I don't know a lot about Buddy Ebsen, except he was also on the Beverly Hillbillies, and he was almost picked to be either the Tin Man or the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz. I remember Ray Bolger got to be the Scarecrow. Not sure who the Tin Man was.

  • BARNABY JONES..........A Quinn Martin Production.

  • @bjroberts65 lol

  • @bjroberts65 Quinn Martin, that's why i came here.

  • @bjroberts65 ...With the famous Quinn Martin roll call.

  • @bjroberts65 Quinn Martin produced some great shows in the '70s

  • LOVE IT!!!!!! The 70's cop shows were so much better than the male model crap they show now.

  • A great theme by the late Jerry Goldsmith.

  • Love that bell in the music - very effectively played a half-beat late.

  • Quinn Martin productions ruled the airwaves in the 60's & 70's. Few TV producers achieved the level of sucess he did....

"The Fugutive" ,"The FBI", "Cannon", "The Streets Of San Francisco", & "Barnaby Jones" all enjoyed successful runs....

In all of his shows, there is a narration that introduces the audience to the show, the actors (both regular and guest starring) and of course the ending.....

    "Tonight's episode .....

    Class QM

  • Quinn Martin was the shizzle.

  • Is that Dick Wesson announcing the intro?

  • @epgrove1961 Dick Wesson announced some of the earlier Quinn Martin shows (The Fugitive, 12 O'Clock High, The Invaders). Hank Simms was the announcer for Barnaby Jones, as well as Cannon, The Streets of San Francisco and The F.B.I., as well as Police Squad!

  • Just watched Episode two.."To Catch a Dead Man"-Guest Star: William Shatner

  • Tonight's episode: The Dead Don't Speak

  • The pilot episode. Detective Hal Jones gets bumped off and Hal's dad Barnaby Jones comes out of retirement to investigate with the help of fellow p.i. Frank Cannon. Barnaby resumes his detective career after catching the murderer. Bad guys should be beware of the old guy and the fat guy!

  • One of the great TV themes by Jerry Goldsmith.

  • @transitny YES....tv theme songs ruled back in the day!

  • holy shit I feel old...

  • How the hell I've never heard of this show? I've been watching Beverly Hillbillies since 197? lol

  • @ihavesexforhappymeal Ebsen started this long running show not too long after the Beverly Hillbillies was canceled.

  • @hanoc101

I was born 1978, I remember the reruns from as early as 1982 at my baby sitter's house. Looks like Barnaby Jones ended right after my 2nd birthday, no way I'd remember that.

  • Very,very good quality! thanks!

  • i heard nbc is thinking about remaking the series..not sure if its true or not. but just saying.

  • Could someone please send me an upload of this pilot episode?

  • This is the best quality of any Barnaby Jones episode I have seen on You Tube.

  • You can buy the first season on dvds.
