Only reason people will get mad at Torch Bearer and (Regulus I think) because they are characters who can get into combat and run when they see other Demi-gods comin at em. But some are REALLY powerful to make up for that, like Unclean Beast. Inner rage, The father's ring and his DoT make him a destroyer once he gets into them. overall its very balanced

Torch is ok but Regulu's snipe is a real pain in the ass. Good dmg and insane range.

Not only that, but you can surprise enemy demigods fighting against your allies, or those dumb enough to stand directly over your flag when trying to cap it. Mark of the Betrayer is a great way to deal with Generals too. Don't let the Unclean Beast get too close though... Regulus doesn't have enough health to deal with that onslaught.

Oh and i forgot to mention the weak ass AI of demigod. I liked it at first but I started to play with real people when even 3 against 1 the AI would still lose.

Yeah ofcoarse the balance in demi god is better. How would it not be since it only has 8 heroes. Dota is very balanced for a game of it;s caliber. And has more variety too cause weapons arent just bought through a hierarchiral shop system. But demi god is good for a while but becomes boring when you used the same character over 20 times and it becomes inbalanced when people use only ranged combatants like the guy with the crossbow, forgot his name and the element guy, forgot him as well.

Dudes, DotA is fun for a while but it gets boring after you play it a few times but Demigod is very addictive. Graphics better, characters awesome and it is not a custom edit!!! The Rook is my fav hero plus he is very useful for my tactic, conquer the other team's portal to have more minions on my side. Yeah, wat makes Demigod interestin is that we can upgrade the team and minions as well.

Dota is so stupid to have that many heros while not being able to handle the balance isuees. Look at heros like troll warlord and facless, so fun to just farm for 50 minutes then completle fuck the gama apart, no team whatsoever. Demigod focuses a LOT more on team

yes youre right...when it comes to balance demigod is way above dota...this very day I was brutaly raped by imba troll warlord so I know what youre talkin about =)...demigod is superb...my only problem is cus they need to add just little more heroes like in league of legends ( for example ) and try to improve control of demigod when it comes to final battle in front of citadel =P

They will put 2 new heros in the game soon, but still compare it to other games like world of warcraft, only 10 races, warcraft 3, only 4 races and so on and on, demigod is pretty average in the number of playable characters. Dota should remove most of its heros to raise its standard, its just to much imbalance shit in it

Man... how come noone tought of this before- making a dota game is fucking genious... i still dont like the graphics i like the cartoonish feel of dota and the simplicity of the game once you have it down also i see no items on this... i just dont know : / meh

The reason why I look forward to this is because I absolutely loved the Warcraft III custom games that had a similar play style. Massive armies, many small victories, constant spawning: I was hooked.

I hope they can replicate that same addictive quality and low learning curve.

Hey guys, just wanted to say that yes the video is laggy. The game itself is NOT laggy at all. I was recording with FRAPS, which is what caused the stutters. Without fraps recording, the framerate is very smooth and stable.
