and he has performed with some of the best in the business. I have not heard a version of this song that I do not like. This is a tribute to the song writer, the message in this song is timeless.

I have always loved your music Phil but this song the way you sing it is wonderful and it is beautiful especially for single mother who has raised her kids alone and the 3 of them is an asset to the community. My kids dedicated this to me.

I can kind of see where your coming from Debz but this version is more or less an acapella, so it doesn't have the full bodied soulfulness of the original. But if you like it that's good enough for me babe lol...:O)
