About the game... Do you really need to do the "8" or infinity sign like motion? Do you need to have a perfect rhythm or timing? or if you wave the remote really fast your orchestra will play really fast as well?

It's a minigame in Wii Music, so there are only like several songs available for it. To play, you just have to make conductor motions (or whatever, since it doesn't really matter as long as the Wii Remote is moving), and depending how fast or slow you make the movements, the speed of the song changes. You get scored at the end, but I dunno what the criteria is. Probably if your rhythm is irregular, your score will get docked.

The way that IDGSRJ is conducting demonstrates how to link the notes together smoothly. Since it's not in the spirit of this song, it may probably get lower marks.
