  • @FlametopFred Hi and thanks! not a sequencer, that is the arpeggiator from a roland juno 6 analogue synth.

  • UN-BELIEVABLE!!! You've managed to capture the essence of Vangels, TD, and Jarre all in one tune. My three favorite artists. Please definitely make MP3's available. Would love to have a copy of this one and the Vangelis sounds. FANTASTIC!!!! Or just let me know what the cost of a CD would be if that is possible.

  • It is indeed the case in this improvisation of yours that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

  • Request and demand... GIVE US MP3's! =0)

It's like an audio story unfolding in my mind.

For some reason I suddenly feel like escaping from New York!!! And I live in Denmark.

  • This is fantastic, Mick. Loving this! Any chance of an MP3? ;-)

  • Does anyone else feel that sometimes it takes some time to really appreciate a piece of music? Well in this case, I really liked arpeggio motion the first time I heard it, but it just keeps growing on me more and more. It really is pure genius! I think I need at the very least an MP3 of this, or I will go insane!

  • I'm flattered Andy, thankyou! I will send you a link to an mp3, I cant say no after that can I lol!

  • This is magic. How is it the esq1 piano always steals the show? Thanks Mr.D.

  • really great !!!

  • Almost better than Vangelis, perfect! 5*+

  • Great - I'm a 1975er and was growing with the sound of Klaus Schulze, Vangelis, Kraftwerk and Jean Michel Jarre! You made a wonderful mixture of ambient sounds, melodie and rhythm-elements! An amazing sountrack for the inside-my-head-movie :-)

  • Quality music!

  • Love it, awesome sounds you must spend a lot of time getting these tunes perfect 100*

  • thanks:) l spend more time making patches than ever playing anything properly, I usually bluff my way through my videos lol!

  • Wow!!!! real time playing.Where is the Album Please? Ps:Dance Remix of JMJ Oxygene Pt:8

  • great sounds as always!

  • cheers fischek:)

  • Absolute fantastic sounds and playing. Vangelis part 2. Love the Juno sequence and the brass sounds. Its a pleasure to listen and watch.

    5*****

  • Thankyou marco:)

  • Honestly, your stuff just continues to get better and better.Sounds like its going through the stratosphere at times! Hey, does your Juno 6 have a DCB connector round back, or is it one of those early versions without DCB? IF it has DCB, you can get a DCB- midi convertor for syncing your arpeggiator.

  • Thanks Andy, My Juno 6 does a midi retrofit , so I can sequence it but....arpeg is more fun!. But I'll take what advice you and rawwbot gave me and try a few things out.

  • lovely. thank you.

  • Keep the synth's comming there excelliant.... XD.....Great Music... :) You Know how to surround the room with great music.... :)

  • Hi Michael,

some very nice Sounds, some are ... strangely weird.

I specially like the Sound at 01:40 - 01:50, add a nice Drum Sequence and you would have some kind of Techno (im no musician, i just enjoy good music).

    Regards

    Jens

  • Cheers Jens, comments much appreciated:) I agree a drum sequence would have been nice for certain parts but unfortunately I can't sync the arpeggiator of the juno 6 to any of my other synths/percussion. I need more equipment..........global recession sucks huh?!

  • Hi Michael,

hmm ever tried to use that Sequence as Audio-Track in the Juno-G?

So plug the Audio-Out into the Line-In / Audio In of the Juno-G and record as Audio Track, and than keep going :D

Not a perfect Solution but it should work

    Regards

    Jens

  • Interesting, i'll brush up on the g's user manual. Thanks for the tip..you know more about synths than you let on:)

  • Dont rush, theres a video Tutorial on Youtube about that, search for "juno-g sampling tutorial" and thats the Reason why i know this, and i worked in my Amiga Times on OctaMed and Protracker where i used something similiar due lack of Tracks: Recorded the unfinished part and added it as a Track ...

If i would now start with Synths my personal financial manager would slice me very slowly coz i alread have a quite expensive hobby: Astronomy :D

  • Vangelis the second, say no more.Great mix again.

  • I love your improvisations, I love your videos ... GREAT again

  • Thankyou!
