The secret is isolating the third, longer bob and looping it at different lengths, rather than different speeds. That way the records always spin at the same frame rate and faster bobs end up shorter, as they would naturally.
@Karlfalcon so does that mean that you isolated the head in a different frame set and had the records go into a different frame set, like it's two different images cutting into eachother?
Not for this video. I did however have to do that to get the ultra-long pause in the Parasprite video. I cheated with this one and looped the last three frames. (you can kinda see her head twitch during the pause)
I meant that I looped the third bob from the original clip and cut more or less off the end, instead of speeding it up or slowing it down. It's still the original framerate no matter what BPM the song is.
@Karlfalcon for the screen splitting part that you say you used for the parasprites, how did you do that? and are you doing all of this in sony vegas?
