Great discussions and you ask good questions. I think once the child is able to talk and has already lived in the world for a few years bombarded by gender scripts by other family members, friends, the media, fairytales, etc., s/he will have some ideas about what gender s/he most identifies with, unless s/he identifies with both equally, which would be awesome. Depends on how the child's parents discuss sex & gender too. Time will tell; I personally love the parents' approach! Love ur vids!
@CascadeTheWarrior first and for most.. i thank you for your opinion, but you do choose your sexuality, no matter who it is. YOU ARE NOT BORN GAY its simply a choice.... but the choice in gender leads to the choice in sexuality. if "it" have girl genitals but the parents dresses "it" like a boy, by the time it is old enough to make its own decision.. Its mind would be corrupted
@Bambam10ify forcing a child into gender roles based on genitals and not feeling is corrupting them. raising a child where nobody knows their true sex gives them the freedom to explore masculinity and feminity without the world being able to say NO you cant do that because ur genitals say ur a boy so playing with dolls is a no no. since nobody knows what the child is they can play with the fuck they want and the world cant object because they dont know if they r playing with the right toy
I think that there is more to the story. The parents are probably leaving out parts of the story because why would you raise two boys and then let the last child decide his or her gender? Crazy...I'm just sayin'!
I think it is a good experiment. I wouldn't do this would my child, but I have already decided that when I do decide to have a child I want them to be themselves. If my son pick up a doll and play with it , i am not going to assume that he is going to be gay because he played with it. I am just going to be here to guide, discpline, and to teach my children on how to be a better human being and to make it in this world with the help of the Lord... Of course!
nahh the child gone grow up fine its just gone be everybody else around the kid thats gone be confused until they old enough to speak for themselves...by the time the kid hits school tho it might get ugly..you know how mean kids are lol

The world wld truly b better wen we strt viewin 1 anoda as just humans n nothin more like - Man, Woman, Colored, White etc
if you guys really hear how the parents talk i think its possible that the child is a hermaphrodite thats probably why they want it to grow up and be what it feels so that they know what it really is... i thinks thats why they are raising it genderless, if they give it a gender, it may be the wrong one. thats what i think anyways
r yu really that ignorant that u jus said only "white" ppl would do something like dis? why is it tht ppl wanted to stear white ppl away from bein racist tht r still ignorant n shit about d topic but yet we cum across black folks who belittle white ppl d same fuckin way!! dat dnt make no damn since, if u wan respect bitch u gun respect me! every white person is na d fuckin same! every black person is na every hispanic is na! its 2011 get fuckin educated! omg
I think it's a great idea to a certain extent by the time the child is in grade school they should at least have a gender identity! But that's my thought!
If the parents don't feel like it , they don't have to treat the child as if it were a boy or girl (dress girly/ buy dolls, vice versa) but at one point they are gonna have to explain the child's gender to him or her or else society will do it.
Children tend to be very vocal & know what they want at soon as they can speak. I don't think its going to mess them up in the end... bc at the end of the day when the child grows up they will do what they want. Hell my moms damn near shoved barbie dolls & dresses down my throat. Didn't make a damn of a difference bc *in Chris Brown voice* LOOK AT ME NOW. Too much emphasis is placed on gender. & frankly how those parents decide to raise THEIR child, is THEIR business.
I can agree with that if the child has both sex organs other than that its pointless. We may discover our child is different and take it from there. I dont feel it necessary to get rid male female categlories we just need to accept that our sex organs are not always accurate identfiers.
i heard about this a while ago and me and my baby think the child is a hermaphrodite i don't think it has anything to do with freedom of choice, they just don't want people to know
I saw this article and its ridiculous....the child does not have both parts but they are keeping the sex a secret...this will eventually confuse this poor thing later in life and subject him/her to ridicule that is unnecessary...honestly, I think this was a ploy towards their 15 mins of fame....they also have two other children who they keep away from the "public" so that no one can tell them what they truly are....they should know if they are male or female period!!
It shouldn't be up to the parents. That will confuse the child more when he/she gets older. WHen the baby gets to an age when he knows differences then it should be up to the child. What the parents are doing now is going to make it worse. I'm a female and identified as such but I liked to play with transformers when i was younger. Don't just send the baby in there blind, identify him/her with their "rightful" gender and then let him/her go from there.
I think its good but as far as using da restroom if they have a certain private part they should go to the restroom that matches it lol they're just a kidd. Kids will choose candy over lettuce lol maybe after they teach the kid wats wat in dis cruel world then u let them decide because now they know wat is goin on around them. But its ok to be u. That's how I feel
I think it's great. They are really open parents and they're really responsive to the kids, and they say themselves that as soon as the kid wants to pick a gender they'll support that - I'm pretty certain it would happen before school, before going to public restrooms alone, before kids get real mean. I think it's a powerful gesture and their kids will be stronger for it.
I THINK THE CHILD IS INTERSEX & THEY PROBABLY DON'T WANT TO LABEL THE CHILD, 'CAUSE IF THE CHILD IS JUST A HE OR A SHE THEN IT WOULDN'T BE A PROBLEM WITH GENDER!!!
this is a tough one. i totally understand where the parents are coming from. something like this needs 2be taken 1 step at a time i think..as the child is only 4 months they should dress her/him in neutral colors and outfits e.g. creams, lemon, orange and green..as for clothes little trousers n shorts should do it..confusion is in the mind of society that wishes to box or label every thing for it 2 make sense to it. it is a hard enuf decision to make but having an open view about it is the best
I think as a parent they should make that choice at least for now. When they get to the age where they feel un comfortable about it and things start to change then the child has the choice at least for now they should make that call or the child will be very confused and messed up and not know whats going on with them.
Wow, as a parent of two GIRLS, I don't get it. My four year old daughter collects the hot wheels cars takes them to headstart with her and plays with the boys some days and when she's not beat for the boys she plays with the girls Leah loves playin rough shit she used to beat her big sis up when she was going through terrible 2's.My oldest is the same way, she plays video games (b-ball and racing) w/ her dad all the time. THIS SHIT IS WIERD a genderless chilld I dont agree.
I don't think the child will notice or care about the experiment of the parents. I think it will know which gender it is and be that without any trouble.
I think its just for "fame", simple.when the child grows up then by all means whether she/he wants to be hetero. or homo is up to "it" but as of now it only causes a great deal of trouble for the whole family.RIGHT it shdnt matter 2 da outside world but what they are failing to realize is that their 2 oldest sons are apart of the world so now they have to deal with all the madness just because the parents want 2 keep da gender a secret.it doesnt make any sense to me but if dey like it I luv it
@Bambam10ify def feel ya on that! i jus really hope its not for FAME and its outta LOVE and truly trying to do what they "feel" is best for the child. anyways..thx so much for your input homie!
@Bambam10ify You are a dumb ass you don't choose your sexuality. The parents are giving them the choice in their gender not their sexuality- which can not be chosen to begin with like i said.
I dont think parents should "experiment" with their child. It sounds like some weird project or something :/ Letting your child do what they want and what they feel is one thing but in a way THEY are actually choosing for the child because THEY made the decision to raise the child sort of asexual. Being a supportive parent does not mean you have to prove a point :)
I think its a good thing cause a lot of the times parents do decide wat the gender is and it turns out they r the other gender. So only time will time. I think the child will be confused at first but in time will discover who they r.
I think the parents are so wrong. The baby is whatever it came out to be. The baby has a male or female genitals. They can not have the baby choose its gender cause the baby doesn't know what he really is. The baby gradually learns whether it is a he or she and the teaching comes from its parents and all the people thats around it. Why are they making things so hard for the baby? The baby didn't ask to be here. They are making the baby life hard already.
The parents say they want the "baby" to choose its own gender identity. Its a baby for goodness sake. Why not let the child b what he or she was born as until it gets to an age where it can fully comprehend what is going on and they can choose whether or not they are content with the body they were born with. Otherwise I think it just cause chaos and confusion. Good way to get on tv and get some exposure I might add.
@Kassidy0wnz yea, i wasn't sure if they were doin it as a "publicity stunt" or if they genuinely feel others should do the same...i dunno..but its a very interesting subject thats why i wanted to get your opinion on it...thanks so much fo takin out time to watch and comment
WOW thats deep and very controversial. I would never raise my child that way BUT I see the positive and negative in the situation. I thinks it good just because the child isnt limited and will be able to live life freely. The child might also be confused and not fullt understand or agree with his/her parents. I dont think the childs gender should b a secret. If its a girl they can let everyone know but at the same time let her live however she wants no need for secrets
I think it's fine society places so much on puttin people in boxes. I do think that shud let the baby no wat bioloically they were born with but I'm all for lettin them b who and whatever they desire to b
there was a story just like this that i watched ages back, the kid was called moon i think and one day it was a girl and the next was a boy was weird, but i kinda understand why they have done that but then again i dont :/
i think its a tricky topic.......on one hand its good that the parents arent forcing gender stereo-types/roles onto the child but unfortunately our society is based on gender so by them raising the kid genderless they will face issues later in life.....i dunno *shrugs*
@lipsrvs1 Normally i say thats their choice and leave it alone..but in this case, they put it out there. they wrote an article to tell the WORLD of this new way of raising children, they want others to follow them...at this point i feel its definitely worth discussing jus to hear opinions
i think when he gets older they shoud tell them and if they don't want them to fit into "gender roles" that's fine but don't confuse the child that's how i feel about it though
So I'm wonderin if this child has a birth paper what does the sex category say.. and gender and sex r 2 differ things society needs 2 understand that jus cuz u have testes that doesn't make u male vice versa.. if the child is intersex they need 2 leave the child as is but continue 2 raise the child outside the spectrum of gender roles I'm plannin 2 raise my kids as such... there's a movie xxy with a 15yr old teen with a similar prob as such I recommend u ppl watch it pretty cool I think
4months way2 young to decide there are kids that were 3 yrs and wanted 2 be the opposite gender trans kids. so I if i was the parents I wud jus observe the childs behavior and c how close they r 2 the gender standards of male or female jus 2 observe the child behavior not say jus cuz the child likes pink its a girl...sadly there's only 2 boxes male or female.. for medical reasons they need 2 choose eventually base on the childs anatomy of male female intersex etc.
@keta4332 Yea when the child gets old enuff to comprehend "boy vs girl" thats when it should be brought up.. hopefully the kid comes out okay..and NOT confused..lol
I think that whole thing is no bueno. Like i know when i was a kid u pull up ya shirt& say i have this what do u have... soooo poor storm is gonna scare the opposite sex. I think they should go along with the sex of the child& if later on storm says mom i feel like the opposite sex or if its a boy& he does cheer leading then fine. Im sure storm would be grateful for supportive parents no need to have a genderless child...thats just me
@GyalLikeTrubz lol.. the child is only 4month, so the child aint thinkin ish ri now! its the parents just chose to keep it secret from anyone else...i dunno..i jus read the article and it was madd interestin and wanted to hear what ppl think bout it.. nyways...thanks so much fo watchin/commenting..
i think its a great idea. I think society feels they owe to themselves to KNOW about peoples business. NO, FUCK YOU. MIND YOUR OWN. simple as that. Im from toronto so i heard about this story and i completely agree with how theyre trying to raise there child.
Is there any chance the child has been born Intersex?
I mean if this is the case i can see where the parents are coming from, even if it isn't the case i respect the parents for parenting their child in a way that is suiting them, they are not breaking any laws.
@ljuze the article says the parents KNOW the gender..so im guessing the child is not intersex...when i look at the picture ..they dressed them so we still couldn't be sure.. but yea i respect what they are trying to do if their intentions are based on "Unconditional Love"..thanks for you input my friend!
gender at birth is a given, how the baby gon decide...thats crazy..ppl lets stop at gay...ppl are gettin too outrageous now...gon from gay to forget gender all together..plz
@ARYEliB people forever gone want more or wanna try something different... its human instincts...i do agree that people are gettin too outrageous now... let the child be a child and let it be!
I agree with the article when they say the parents are bringing a lot of attention to something they're trying to avoid exposing. That's pressure on the young siblings, and possibly the baby when they get old enough to care. Everybody belongs to one group or another...
@soulsearcher99 yea, i was a lil shokked how they wanted it to not be a big deal, but then contacted the newspapers and MADE it a big deal...or maybe they jus wanna set a new example for others to raise their children the same way... we shall see...lol... thx fo your input homie!
Oh wow! i think it's a good idea since they are 4 months old. Once the baby starts school what will they do, unless they plan n homeschooling them? But i say let the child choose the path that they want. I would love to see the outcome of the situation.
@ShandaBear62 let the child choose the path that they want.. as long as its a SAFE path, i don't agree with parents not parenting tho... they job is to protect, raise and take kur dey child..and love them regardless..if they do that..they coo
I read that yesterday and I'm glad that you decided to touch on it. I think all parents should do that. Society has us thinking we have to change who we really are to fit in and that's wrong. The teenagers in my house can dress how they want and just be who they are without judgement. I think the whole reason they're doing it is to take the pressure off and let their child just live free ya know.
@puffdaddy1975 I dunno bout keepin it a secret but i do believe all parents should be open to letting them child be themselves... regardless of their gender. Thanks soo much fo your input homie!
I don't feel like the child will b affected by it at all... by the time the child gets old enough 2 care about gender (if allowed to go 2 school) they will know what they are by talking to friends... kids talk about everything at a young age... plus young kids ask a lot of question so if every to see brothers or mom or dad without clothes the child will have a million questions
Id allow my child to pick and choose what he or she likes and dislikes, so im on the parents side here. what age do u switch it up? well, when the body develops more we should be able to see how it operates. if kids tease my child, id do homeschooling. i know we cant protect our kids from everything, but this needs some guidance and a comfort zone. so, leave the child at home let it grow and see how it goes.
@BaldButWigged I agree.. My family was like that... whatever we wanted to play with or howeva we chose to dress was okay... i don't know bout homeschooling if kids tease them... i was teased as a child..and i believe it helped me. Thanks fo takin time to comment my friend!
The child should be called he if he has male genitals and she if she has female genitals. Now later in life if the child objects to any one of these genders then the child should be able to do a switch. I do not think that what they are doing will harm the child in any way, they are just making it more confusing for others.
@GiantCrocogator I am glad I found your post before typing. I totally agree with you. At that age, we are suppose to let children be children. I will say as they get older, we are to teach them what society says they are "suppose" to do. Now as a parent if I see that my child is going opposite of what is "norm" for his/her gender then at THAT POINT I may decide to make it a choice or make it a right or wrong situation. I think they are trying to be open just starting too soon.
@NewBaltlondtv exactly.. maybe even sooner than that..cuz my nephew wanted to know if he was a boy at 2! lol.. soon as they ask, you should tell them.
Exploring gender hybids, has taken thinking outside of the BOX to a new level. *pass me da blunt* I believe that gender will surface in due time, no matter what toy you give them or what color you dress them in. Somehow, society and social avenues seem to shape you in that area. Its the way that others view you that appears to be MOST important. You always want.... the way you view yo'self (mentally inside) to be consistant with how OTHERS view your gender identity. Hybid or otherwise.
While I think this is an exciting experiment and I would love to see the outcome, I wonder about their method. We get over a million gender clues thorough our day from society, media, and each other. I wonder how the parents will relate to the member within the family and each other b/c this will model gender. This is a grey area not so polarized. I will have to read further.
@ablacksquare yea..its like an experiment definitely! i jus hope its all outta LOVE and not "attention"... Soona or later the child will come in contact wit another child who asks..."you a boy or a girl"..cuz children don't hold ish back! lol... nways..thanks for your comment and input mi friend!
Someone Needs To Take That Child Away From Those Parents Before They Screw Up That Poor Baby Psychologically ... In This World... Their Are 2 Genders... 1. Boys Have A Penis... And 2. Girls Have A Vagina... Simple As That... Now If That Child Grows Up To Feel Differently About Themself, That's THEIR Choice.. But To Completely Ignore The Gender Of The Child Is Just Insane..
i honestly don't think that's the best way to raise your child. Let them get older and make those decisions themselves. I just think it's stupid.point blank period..by the way i know this is off topic but damn kamari you sound sexy, it sounds like your voice got deeper or sumfin...
We are all labelled regardless, and in certain things we do and places we go. Because WE AGREE TO IT. We cannot go/do unless its under agreeable terms like public bathrooms and shit like that. Back in the day u couldn't drink from certain faucets or use certain bathrooms unless it said "Colored" or "White" right? You know why? because we agree to that. Now gone are those days there are bathrooms that say Men/Women, so unless we agree to that, then it is such. We should be free to be whatever..
@DontFlatterUrselfSon yes we are all labeled regardless, def agree with that!!! Thanks fo takin time to comment and put in ya opinion...its much appreciated!!
New Tats! And idk, i think it's built with good intentions but that child is gonna be so confused that it may not be such a good idea. maybe just being open minded would be better than this.
i think thats crazy 4 real and this new society is crazy its up 2 da parents 2 in force shit like dat but when da kid grows ^ and kill the whole dam family den dats crazy
@CasinoMillz crazy thing is we don't know the long term effect of how we raise our children... ways may seem right now, but then ooops.. effed up now da Kid crazy.. but every child is different..every household is different..they jus gotta do what is best for the Child.
Its an interesting concept but I don't think its practical for 98% of american families. Hardly any one wants to be surprised at birth to learn if the child is a boy or a girl. People feel compfortable within categories, people want to know where and how you belong to a certain group, community, etc. Unless the parents raise Storm in a bubble he/she (((will be))) effected by gender roles and sterotypes.
@turner524 yes i agree..they can hold the child in this "Genderless" society for now... but as they grow older they will be forced into a category ratha they want to be or not... #life
We shouldnt HAVE to choose. Why should we anyways? We all are destined to be something maybe by picking for us we can no longer travel our true journey. But to let it natrually upon us is traveling our true destination. We Pick We Choose! Maybe thats why some of us are gay because God is trying to tell us everything we are told and taught is a lie you can do what you want and thats why being gay is so offensive bc their not free like us. As soon as we told some1 we were gay we felt free admit it
@imalegend010 Enjoii'd your input on this homie...thats why i put it out there...simply to hear the various replies...I love how the mind works, everyone is so different but so much the same.... anyways... Thanks again!
See get wit me Lyrical understand what im saying lol (its dat reefa talkin) but look at the people who doubt the kid into crazy problems and running into conflicts as life goes on are the ones that cant see what isnt shown. They are already adapted to society they cant be nothing more. Its like they only think the possible that is possible. They only way i think that baby becomes crazy is because the people who dont understand will ruin the baby with our psychological problems.
I think if it all falls into place that kid will grow up to be viscous, an icon, a new era or example. For us different then regular people we should see this as the best experiment ever. No disrespect Lyrikal but maybe its not the kid who wont know whats going on its us. We are tricked and controlled off who we are and who we only can be or what we only can become. That baby could be the jesus in our century. Give this world something to shake about... But the truth shall set us free!
i don't like it.. its better the child knows what they are, and decides what they wanna do. If its a girl and it likes girls cool, boy and likes boys cool, straight cool, straight but dresses like adude cool.. but i feel that is just going to confuse the child so early in life.. that aint cool
@AiGproductions i think at this age its not too bad...but when the child starts asking questions, and we KNOW they will..thats when they should tell them..but also let them know they don't hafta stick to the "gender norms"..jus be them
They sounds white (i know its a stereotype) but on a serious note I think its kinda weird. I feel its better to do the "norm" and if the child decides when he/she is older that s/he wants to change his/her gender its good that the family is open with that idea but I think they are putting a heavy issue on a child. What happened to letting children be innocent?
I think its NOT such a good idea because like you said when it comes to a situation like school..they can choose the gender JUST dont limit them within it.
I think it isnt a that bad idea with the toys and stuff but i would let the child have basically a gender

It shouldn't be up to the parents. That will confuse the child more when he/she gets older. WHen the baby gets to an age when he knows differences then it should be up to the child. What the parents are doing now is going to make it worse. I'm a female and identified as such but I liked to play with transformers when i was younger. Don't just send the baby in there blind, identify him/her with their "rightful" gender and then let him/her go from there.
biggsexxi299 9 months ago
I think its good but as far as using da restroom if they have a certain private part they should go to the restroom that matches it lol they're just a kidd. Kids will choose candy over lettuce lol maybe after they teach the kid wats wat in dis cruel world then u let them decide because now they know wat is goin on around them. But its ok to be u. That's how I feel
JayJuBo 9 months ago
I think it's great. They are really open parents and they're really responsive to the kids, and they say themselves that as soon as the kid wants to pick a gender they'll support that - I'm pretty certain it would happen before school, before going to public restrooms alone, before kids get real mean. I think it's a powerful gesture and their kids will be stronger for it.

hey sexy, maybe the baby got both parts , and they want him/she to choose what way they want to go,

I THINK THE CHILD IS INTERSEX & THEY PROBABLY DON'T WANT TO LABEL THE CHILD, 'CAUSE IF THE CHILD IS JUST A HE OR A SHE THEN IT WOULDN'T BE A PROBLEM WITH GENDER!!!
Mwink1975 9 months ago
this is a tough one. i totally understand where the parents are coming from. something like this needs 2be taken 1 step at a time i think..as the child is only 4 months they should dress her/him in neutral colors and outfits e.g. creams, lemon, orange and green..as for clothes little trousers n shorts should do it..confusion is in the mind of society that wishes to box or label every thing for it 2 make sense to it. it is a hard enuf decision to make but having an open view about it is the best
cliobaby 9 months ago
wow i forgot about him going to the restroom and such this might be so much more deeper than we all think
astrozier1 9 months ago
I think as a parent they should make that choice at least for now. When they get to the age where they feel un comfortable about it and things start to change then the child has the choice at least for now they should make that call or the child will be very confused and messed up and not know whats going on with them.
msorlando36 9 months ago
Wow, as a parent of two GIRLS, I don't get it. My four year old daughter collects the hot wheels cars takes them to headstart with her and plays with the boys some days and when she's not beat for the boys she plays with the girls Leah loves playin rough shit she used to beat her big sis up when she was going through terrible 2's.My oldest is the same way, she plays video games (b-ball and racing) w/ her dad all the time. THIS SHIT IS WIERD a genderless chilld I dont agree.
tiffanysherell 9 months ago
I don't think the child will notice or care about the experiment of the parents. I think it will know which gender it is and be that without any trouble.

I think its just for "fame", simple.when the child grows up then by all means whether she/he wants to be hetero. or homo is up to "it" but as of now it only causes a great deal of trouble for the whole family.RIGHT it shdnt matter 2 da outside world but what they are failing to realize is that their 2 oldest sons are apart of the world so now they have to deal with all the madness just because the parents want 2 keep da gender a secret.it doesnt make any sense to me but if dey like it I luv it
Bambam10ify 9 months ago 4
@Bambam10ify def feel ya on that! i jus really hope its not for FAME and its outta LOVE and truly trying to do what they "feel" is best for the child. anyways..thx so much for your input homie!
KamariUpdatez 9 months ago
@Bambam10ify You are a dumb ass you don't choose your sexuality. The parents are giving them the choice in their gender not their sexuality- which can not be chosen to begin with like i said.
CascadeTheWarrior 9 months ago
I dont think parents should "experiment" with their child. It sounds like some weird project or something :/ Letting your child do what they want and what they feel is one thing but in a way THEY are actually choosing for the child because THEY made the decision to raise the child sort of asexual. Being a supportive parent does not mean you have to prove a point :)

@lovewillkillusall Being a supportive parent does not mean you have to prove a point :) <--I love it! thanks so much for your input..
KamariUpdatez 9 months ago
I think its a good thing cause a lot of the times parents do decide wat the gender is and it turns out they r the other gender. So only time will time. I think the child will be confused at first but in time will discover who they r.
bootyliciousstud69 9 months ago
I think the parents are so wrong. The baby is whatever it came out to be. The baby has a male or female genitals. They can not have the baby choose its gender cause the baby doesn't know what he really is. The baby gradually learns whether it is a he or she and the teaching comes from its parents and all the people thats around it. Why are they making things so hard for the baby? The baby didn't ask to be here. They are making the baby life hard already.
xambrownX 9 months ago

KamariUpdatez 9 months ago
WOW thats deep and very controversial. I would never raise my child that way BUT I see the positive and negative in the situation. I thinks it good just because the child isnt limited and will be able to live life freely. The child might also be confused and not fullt understand or agree with his/her parents. I dont think the childs gender should b a secret. If its a girl they can let everyone know but at the same time let her live however she wants no need for secrets
JanayHick 9 months ago
I think it's fine society places so much on puttin people in boxes. I do think that shud let the baby no wat bioloically they were born with but I'm all for lettin them b who and whatever they desire to b

i think its a tricky topic.......on one hand its good that the parents arent forcing gender stereo-types/roles onto the child but unfortunately our society is based on gender so by them raising the kid genderless they will face issues later in life.....i dunno *shrugs*

So I'm wonderin if this child has a birth paper what does the sex category say.. and gender and sex r 2 differ things society needs 2 understand that jus cuz u have testes that doesn't make u male vice versa.. if the child is intersex they need 2 leave the child as is but continue 2 raise the child outside the spectrum of gender roles I'm plannin 2 raise my kids as such... there's a movie xxy with a 15yr old teen with a similar prob as such I recommend u ppl watch it pretty cool I think
bustitwydeopen365 9 months ago
4months way2 young to decide there are kids that were 3 yrs and wanted 2 be the opposite gender trans kids. so I if i was the parents I wud jus observe the childs behavior and c how close they r 2 the gender standards of male or female jus 2 observe the child behavior not say jus cuz the child likes pink its a girl...sadly there's only 2 boxes male or female.. for medical reasons they need 2 choose eventually base on the childs anatomy of male female intersex etc.
bustitwydeopen365 9 months ago
if i was in the kid shoes, i'd be confused.

Im sure storm would be grateful for supportive parents no need to have a genderless child...thats just me

i think its a great idea. I think society feels they owe to themselves to KNOW about peoples business. NO, FUCK YOU. MIND YOUR OWN. simple as that. Im from toronto so i heard about this story and i completely agree with how theyre trying to raise there child.
tdotstudda 9 months ago
Is there any chance the child has been born Intersex?
I mean if this is the case i can see where the parents are coming from, even if it isn't the case i respect the parents for parenting their child in a way that is suiting them, they are not breaking any laws.
ljuze 9 months ago
@ljuze the article says the parents KNOW the gender..so im guessing the child is not intersex...when i look at the picture ..they dressed them so we still couldn't be sure.. but yea i respect what they are trying to do if their intentions are based on "Unconditional Love"..thanks for you input my friend!

KamariUpdatez 9 months ago
I agree with the article when they say the parents are bringing a lot of attention to something they're trying to avoid exposing. That's pressure on the young siblings, and possibly the baby when they get old enough to care. Everybody belongs to one group or another...
soulsearcher99 9 months ago
@soulsearcher99 yea, i was a lil shokked how they wanted it to not be a big deal, but then contacted the newspapers and MADE it a big deal...or maybe they jus wanna set a new example for others to raise their children the same way... we shall see...lol... thx fo your input homie!
KamariUpdatez 9 months ago
Oh wow! i think it's a good idea since they are 4 months old. Once the baby starts school what will they do, unless they plan n homeschooling them? But i say let the child choose the path that they want. I would love to see the outcome of the situation.
ShandaBear62 9 months ago
@ShandaBear62 let the child choose the path that they want.. as long as its a SAFE path, i don't agree with parents not parenting tho... they job is to protect, raise and take kur dey child..and love them regardless..if they do that..they coo
KamariUpdatez 9 months ago
@KamariUpdatez that's true. The parents have t give them some kind of direction otherwise they really will be lost.
ShandaBear62 9 months ago
I read that yesterday and I'm glad that you decided to touch on it. I think all parents should do that. Society has us thinking we have to change who we really are to fit in and that's wrong. The teenagers in my house can dress how they want and just be who they are without judgement. I think the whole reason they're doing it is to take the pressure off and let their child just live free ya know.
puffdaddy1975 9 months ago
@puffdaddy1975 I dunno bout keepin it a secret but i do believe all parents should be open to letting them child be themselves... regardless of their gender. Thanks soo much fo your input homie!
KamariUpdatez 9 months ago
I don't feel like the child will b affected by it at all... by the time the child gets old enough 2 care about gender (if allowed to go 2 school) they will know what they are by talking to friends... kids talk about everything at a young age... plus young kids ask a lot of question so if every to see brothers or mom or dad without clothes the child will have a million questions
ChannieR2 9 months ago
Id allow my child to pick and choose what he or she likes and dislikes, so im on the parents side here. what age do u switch it up? well, when the body develops more we should be able to see how it operates. if kids tease my child, id do homeschooling. i know we cant protect our kids from everything, but this needs some guidance and a comfort zone. so, leave the child at home let it grow and see how it goes.
BaldButWigged 9 months ago
@BaldButWigged I agree.. My family was like that... whatever we wanted to play with or howeva we chose to dress was okay... i don't know bout homeschooling if kids tease them... i was teased as a child..and i believe it helped me. Thanks fo takin time to comment my friend!
KamariUpdatez 9 months ago
The child should be called he if he has male genitals and she if she has female genitals. Now later in life if the child objects to any one of these genders then the child should be able to do a switch. I do not think that what they are doing will harm the child in any way, they are just making it more confusing for others.
KylaKyla12Kyla 9 months ago 17
@GiantCrocogator I am glad I found your post before typing. I totally agree with you. At that age, we are suppose to let children be children. I will say as they get older, we are to teach them what society says they are "suppose" to do. Now as a parent if I see that my child is going opposite of what is "norm" for his/her gender then at THAT POINT I may decide to make it a choice or make it a right or wrong situation. I think they are trying to be open just starting too soon.
Buttamama28 9 months ago

I will have to read further.
ablacksquare 9 months ago

Someone Needs To Take That Child Away From Those Parents Before They Screw Up That Poor Baby Psychologically ... In This World... Their Are 2 Genders... 1. Boys Have A Penis... And 2. Girls Have A Vagina... Simple As That... Now If That Child Grows Up To Feel Differently About Themself, That's THEIR Choice.. But To Completely Ignore The Gender Of The Child Is Just Insane..

KamariUpdatez 9 months ago
Its an interesting concept but I don't think its practical for 98% of american families. Hardly any one wants to be surprised at birth to learn if the child is a boy or a girl. People feel compfortable within categories, people want to know where and how you belong to a certain group, community, etc. Unless the parents raise Storm in a bubble he/she (((will be))) effected by gender roles and sterotypes.

KamariUpdatez 9 months ago
See get wit me Lyrical understand what im saying lol (its dat reefa talkin) but look at the people who doubt the kid into crazy problems and running into conflicts as life goes on are the ones that cant see what isnt shown. They are already adapted to society they cant be nothing more. Its like they only think the possible that is possible. They only way i think that baby becomes crazy is because the people who dont understand will ruin the baby with our psychological problems.
imalegend010 9 months ago
I think if it all falls into place that kid will grow up to be viscous, an icon, a new era or example. For us different then regular people we should see this as the best experiment ever. No disrespect Lyrikal but maybe its not the kid who wont know whats going on its us. We are tricked and controlled off who we are and who we only can be or what we only can become. That baby could be the jesus in our century. Give this world something to shake about... But the truth shall set us free!
imalegend010 9 months ago
i don't like it.. its better the child knows what they are, and decides what they wanna do. If its a girl and it likes girls cool, boy and likes boys cool, straight cool, straight but dresses like adude cool.. but i feel that is just going to confuse the child so early in life.. that aint cool
AiGproductions 9 months ago 4

They sounds white (i know its a stereotype) but on a serious note I think its kinda weird. I feel its better to do the "norm" and if the child decides when he/she is older that s/he wants to change his/her gender its good that the family is open with that idea but I think they are putting a heavy issue on a child. What happened to letting children be innocent?
