  • You can't be wise and in love at the same time. ~ Bob Dylan ~

  • Joaquin Sabina???

  • cjrollo, you are correct my friend.

  • Adele's cover is actually a cover of Garth Brooks' cover of Bob Dylan's song.

  • Kill ALL the people who believe this is an Adele cover. I love Adele, but really? REALLY? Get your music history straight people. Thanks.

  • it didnt stop but started

  • if your irish come into the parlor, theres a welcome there for you.

  • I don't understand!!?? It's a cover of adele? Or adele made a cover of him?? Please answer. Thx.

  • @17Eterna Bob Dylan wrote this tune decades ago. Adele covered him and quite fabulously might I add.

  • @17Eterna i dont think bob would have minded adele to cover him at all.....lol

  • @eyeorlandorfish only for he cant thrust..

  • @eyeorlandorfish maybe now you see how angry i am

  • @17Eterna hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. That's all.

  • awkward moment when someone thinks he covered adele's song.

  • @PinkToads101 or Garth Brooks.

  • I'm sure he's still beautiful on the inside! ;)

  • Love Bob Dylan...... But just try to sing my friend...... Let the band play and you do the best you can just to sing normal.....You deserve the props for all you have done...... JUST SING MY BROTHER....... WE LOVE YOU...... BEING JUICED UP ALL THE TIME.... IS HARD ANYONE......Including me and i am not on stage.....LET THEM PLAY AND YOU SING......LEGEND

  • Now i have to find Pan3405's Comment..dam...

  • @vickedv5 when your searching for a name hit ctrl+F then type the name in the box and then the name will be highlighted.

  • got to love bob ,poet ,rocker ,style icon ,actor, painter ,trail blazer ,troubadour, and the best song writer of our time, can conjure up so many emotions in one of his verses ,so lets enjoy him, we are so lucky to still have him so many of the greats have gone ,he may not be forever young but he is a true icon of our time and if you cant see that ,then you got no soul

  • I followed him the best i could that summer. The staff was rude to me. Security was rude. Love forever bob.

  • Hmmmmm.... Sooooo... Is this how he always sounds? Loved the harmonica solo! .....and the background music..

  • Everyone who actually thinks Bob Dylan has a nice voice is completely tone deaf and caught in a little fanboy dream. He is an excellent lyrical writer, but he can't sing for shit.. so give it up you wussy "die-hard" fans. hahahaha

  • @jramz91 why there are still people like you coming to bob dylan videos and talking about his voice...the ones who actually like his voice won t change his opinion because of a half dozen of dumbass who decide to come slagging...

i would prefer to hear bob farting than listen to your horrible voice...

  • @pedroqueiroz1000 so.. you have a fart fetish?

  • fuck adele

  • @conoradair41

    fuck you :3

  • @conoradair41 ahahah, adele can go eat shit...

  • I"d go hungary..I"d go black and blue...to make Bob feel my love

  • Cool!, It's a dream!

  • ...can someone please relay the message to Bob to please show up on a Saturday afternoon at the poet's den at 189 Mutual Street (upstairs) in Toronto (near Jarvis/Gerrard)...Courtney Love is coming to kill me again (and it won't be as neat this time)...Please come as soon as you can!!!!!! I need all the infinite riches of wisdom you possess!!!! THIS IS NO JOKE!!!!!!!!! (that is not our fate!!!!)...Ginsberg's old friend Bill Bissett is here most the time so you can talk about old times too...

  • No more talent like this...one of a kind

  • There may be nice cover versions of this beautiful song, but no cover can come close or should even be compared to the original, sung by the creator himself and the way HE wanted it to be performed......and the harmonica playing on this is wonderful. I love this version!

  • @Jolene1959 the tune gets really boring.. it's sung by too many artists..too many times

  • More than a songwriter...

  • Nice song... but I think Bob sounds real terrible..almost hilarious, hahahaha!

  • a master of beautiful music<3 never ending<3

  • I used to love Dylan, this just sounds like something from The League of Gentlemen!

  • Adele >>>>>

  • Brilliant song!!!!

  • Man, that Adele woman can't touch this.

  • @GeoffWilde Adele gave it a brand new shine.. I really prefer her voice above Dylan.. Dylan is no singer he is a writer.. Let other people do his things!

  • @Pan3405 Dylan is a singer, you obviously don't know his music at all. 'No one sings Dylan like Dylan' And forever it will be.

  • @GeoffWilde I know his music for centuries (I am 52 years old) And I have always disliked his voice. The lyrics may be fine.. but his voice.. in this case I even find it hilarious!!! Like one of the characters of the muppetshow!

  • @Pan3405 That's fine; you are entitled to your opinion. However, it takes more than having a great voice to be a brilliant musician/artist; it isn't always about the voice...

  • @SeanaluvsBurleigh "It isn't about the voice" in case the person is not singing.. and that's exactly the problem with Dylan! John Hyatt is a briljant singer, just like Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole, etc..But Dylan sounds like a Muppet.. Other example:Neil Young sometimes sounds like Kermitt the frog..I love his music but I am not deaf.. Stay sharp.. no blind adorations!!

  • @Pan3405 WTF??? Let me tell you something sweetie; there are no blind adorations on my part...I AM a musician (singer, songwriter, player...) You clearly need to be schooled on what it means to be an artist...and technically, by today's standards (your standards), Louis Armstrong WOULD NOT be recognized as a brilliant singer. And if you're going to quote me, get it right. What I said is that, "it isn't ALWAYS about the voice." For someone as old as you, I'm amazed by how you've missed my point

  • @SeanaluvsBurleigh Yes.. you are.. And let me tell you something It is always about the voice when singing.. it's always about playing guitar when you play the guitar, it's always about.. etc.. etc.. And your comment about Louis.. was exactly what I ment..

  • @Pan3405 I'm sorry but you are clueless..only a non-musician believes that it is only about vocal ability...and you need to decide what side of the fence you're on when speaking about Armstrong..you 1st claimed that he was a brilliant singer, then you seem to side with me when I said that he would not be considered to be a great singer by today's standards. What point are you trying to make other than great vocals = being a brilliant musician? Personal preference does not make you an expert..ijs

  • @SeanaluvsBurleigh Use your brains when reading my reaction... instead of your blind adoration for Bob..

  • @Pan3405 Again, this is not blind adoration for Dylan. What it is is simple respect from one musician to another...this is why I don't buy that you're suddenly a musician..if you truly were, than you would appreciate and thank him for the contributions that he's made in music instead of bashing his vocal abilities. No offense, but you sound shallow and ridiculous in your ridicule of a musical giant, which sounds odd coming from someone who is 52? We'll just have to agree to disagree...Handshake

  • @SeanaluvsBurleigh Give me your e-mail I send you an example of my work with Marjolein Latour..You respect Bob.. Bob doesn't respect his audience.. He never did(!!) See his interviews in the early sixties.. He was a punk, a pain in the ass and that was exactly what he always wanted to be..He is no mr. Nice Guy! It's because i am 52 years old that I know to validate things like music.. But you'r right it's my opinion just as you have your opinion..

  • @Pan3405 Um ok, how did he not respect his audience? In the early 60s, he was nothing more than a young [punk] musician, not unlike other artists in their early 20s with a chip on their shoulder..that's nothing new (you should know that). Anyway, I'll give you my email address..I would love to hear your work..

  • @SeanaluvsBurleigh Answer to your first question By "singing" before an audience!!

  • @SeanaluvsBurleigh I like the band Lambchop!!! he is the new Bob Dylan!!!

  • @Pan3405 Oh and let me ask you this, where did I say that Dylan was a brilliant "Singer?" I didn't...I said that he's a brilliant musician/artist...if your needle wasn't stuck on vocal ability, then you may be able to appreciate real talent & musical genius...And while we're still on the subject, what do you think about:Carole King, Carly Simon, Joe Cocker, Robert Smith, Willie Nelson, & Ray Charles (just to drop a few names)?

  • @SeanaluvsBurleigh And I was reacting on his voice!! I even wrote: Dylan is a good writer.. (as a musician..speaking technically he is not very talented.Even Neil Young admits this when he talks about his personal skills) All the names You dropped are fantastic artists!!

  • @Pan3405 I know that they are fantastic artists..but in case you didn't notice, not all of them are the best singers. You've just proven my point which is, not all musicians are great singers...and by the way, if you're a composer for [this] opera-singer, then it sounds to me that you're just a voice-snob. I've never been impressed with opera-singers, but I do respect their vocal ability...

  • @SeanaluvsBurleigh You're still not using your intelligence.. Ok end of the discussion..

  • @Pan3405 Okie dokie. Where did that come from? I've used as much (if not more) intelligence trying to explain my stance on what makes a musician, A Musician, and not attacking a musician simply because I may not like their vocals, which is all that you've done.Saying that Dylan sounds like a Muppet is not a constructive, professional critique. Since you say that you sing, write,&play, then you should be able to give constructive critique instead of making mean comments that come off as childish

  • @SeanaluvsBurleigh . Ok... I will try to explain to You what I mean.. It got nothing to do with "the beauty of a voice".. it goes beyond that! Micro77s.. says it all (just read his comment)

  • @SeanaluvsBurleigh Or read the commeent of MrALF423 of 3 weeeks ago.. They know exactly what I mean..

  • @SeanaluvsBurleigh Dylan is a bad Muppet..

  • @SeanaluvsBurleigh By the way.. Your statement: "I've never been impressed with opera-singers"..shows to me that You have to develop your taste and intelligence dramatically!! Try to listen to Chopin, Beethoven, Debussy (Arabesque!) .. try to be really open!!! And then come back to Mr.. Bob Villain..

  • Comment removed

  • @SeanaluvsBurleigh I work with (compose for) Marjolein Latour..I think it explains everything.. You can see and hear her on YT)

  • @SeanaluvsBurleigh ehhmmm We can shake hands.. I am also a singer, songwriter, player.. but I know both my capabillities and limitations.. It seems that Dylan lost view on his capabillities..best adviuce.. Let other people play your songs!!

  • @Pan3405

Saying Dylan can't sing is like saying Van Gogh couldn't paint, by the standards of the age he couldn't, but most people just didn't get it.

  • @6musky How dare You to mention our Van Gogh in one phrase with this miserable singing guy called..Bob (the Muppet) Villain!

  • @Pan3405 the only misereble guy i see here is you...learn something about music and then you can go to bob dylan´s videos and comment...

  • @pedroqueiroz1000 Your blind (and deaf) adoration for Bob is childish..Grow up!

  • @pedroqueiroz1000 Your blind (and deaf!) adoration for Bob is too funny!

  • @6musky The people who payed for Van Gogh's paintings were a very small amount of people.. In case You didn't know.. He got famous and hughe.. years after he died!!

  • @GeoffWilde Neither can M C Hammer

  • @TheMusicdork94 Neither can MC Hammer what?

  • @GeoffWilde Touch this. Because he does the song "Can't Touch This?"

  • @TheMusicdork94 Uhm, okay.

  • @GeoffWilde yes she fucking can.

  • @TylerBorntobefamous1 O fucking kay. Calm down.

  • @GeoffWilde haha, I really just add cuss words cause I enjoy them. But seriously, Adele's version is great.

  • @TylerBorntobefamous1 Um, no she can't!!! No one can...and I love Adele and have mad respect for her...but she will tell you herself that it is an honor for her to have the privilege of recording a version of a song written by a musical legend!!

  • @SeanaluvsBurleigh well songwriting wise, of course Bob Dylan did this, and it's great, but singing wise is what I was talking about lol. But she has written some very good songs, but I yeah, it'l prolly take awhile till she gets to bob dylan's level.

  • @TylerBorntobefamous1 I do believe she's off to a great start; but she says that she won't be writing anything new for awhile. I hope that she doesn't sit-out for too long.

  • With THIS voice maybe the old warrior should better rest now...he doesnt have to prove anything anymore !

  • @MrALF423 I agree..

  • I can’t listen to him anymore and walked on him the last time I saw him in concert. Having seen him rivet an audience so many times in person, it broke my heart to hear him not only croaking out the vocals but destroying the wonderful melodies he wrote with that awful talk-singing. It sounds like a mean-spirited SNL parody of him, only he’s doing it to himself. No thanks Bob. I’d rather live with the good memories I have. Harp still sound good tho, as does his piano & guitar playing ~~ : )

  • @micro77s

yeah stick to the 60-70s CDs. Go see Michael Buble.

  • @itsallrock I love Michael too.. Bob is getting hilarious..he reminds me sometimes of the e Muppet show!!

  • @micro77s Go away then? :L

  • what video cam did you use ,,I NEED ONE!! HAHAHA Hope its not too expensive!!

  • ...And that's what a lifetime of heavy smoking does to your voice. Pity.

    Great song though, amazing songwriter

  • That's what you call a songwriter children.

  • @rubbersoul553 You're absolutelyright.. Dylan is a gifted songwriter.. but I must say..a lousy singer..

  • La versión de Adele afortunadamente no pierde la potencia y el sentimiento que tiene esta versión original! :)

  • Ronan Parker completely ruined this song

  • what a tear jerker

  • cooooool!!!!

  • With the love of a jokerman?

  • J'aime bien cette vidéo ! Dylan au clavier c'est génial !
