Getting rid of the Cruiserweight Division was such a mistake. I mean, EVEN if all the former good cruiserweights left, why didn't they anticipate that shit and find NEW cruiserweights to train in places like OVW and FCW?? It couldn't be THAT hard to find some smaller, luchador-type and/or high-flying, talented athletes. WWE really dropped the ball on that one.

Say what you will about WCW in the late '90s, but at least they KEPT their cruiserweight division intact.

The Cruiserweight division, much like the X Division in TNA, was a great chance for smaller wrestlers who would probably not otherwise have gotten a push as midcarders and esp. not main eventers to at least TRY to make a name for themselves.
